Don't recall it being locked, but never tried it before the initial dungeon crawl.
I went into the dungeon with no weapon, three potions and 500gp, don't plan on returning if I can, since I enjoy masochistic purity playthroughs in corruption games.
UPD:, oh I just had to reach the second boss.

You can. Seems you trying pure run, it's have kind disappointed endings (depends on win/lose final boss) and if you really want to watch them, turn easy mode so you will spent less time on it. I completed on hard mode and I wish to tell such advice to myself before wasting my time.
Mostly same, 1 fire aoe by mage class at 40 lvl can wipe all on hard. But you will disappointed cause the game will ended and you will see just ~5% of content and final scene for pure run it's a joke tbh.

lvl 7 is fine.
Tseug was only complaining, because he didnt find "virgin ending" good enough for him. But majority of people play it for more perverted endings.
I'm just trying to warning him so he will not so disappointed at end and probably don't find strength for corrupted rerun.

For some reason i'm stuck on 82 exhibitionism and can't seem to get it to increase... did a bunch of events (new ones) and didn't get an increase. The event to get the ice blessing requires 220, so im obviously miles off that.

Welp... You're likely screwed. After unlocking a new set of events, the older sets can become inaccessible. My best advice for you is to use a

I shall give it a try, how very odd. Because I was fairly sure I didn't miss much... nor does it explain why certain events didn't give me exhibition levels. Thanks buddy.

It is a good idea to regularly check Recollection Room (or is Memories Room?) if you have finished all the necesary events. There is even an advice how you should trigger those events.
Is there some kind of hidden limit on the number of skills you can have? Because once I got this far, I stopped being able to spend Swordfighter's Knowledge. The description for the skills pop up, but not the prompt to buy them.
The previous Swordfighter's Knowledge spend also deducted a Job Point.
Is this normal, or have I run into a bug?

Never noticed one, its all about how many level points you have and the extra points you get from chests in the dungeon. As you have 0 JP you either need a book with a point, or a level, to see what happens.
In past runs I've had some of the smaller skill trees almost completely filled.
