I just quit and dumped the game because of the horrible implementation of the sandbox. The whole game is programmed around some point and click mechanism. You will enter a scene and will have to find things to click on in order to trigger events (dialogs etc.). Extremly annoying and redundant, if you asked me.

Yeah, stay away from this. Too many off-putting things going on. Looping animations during endless dialogue, all with a big textbox in your face. Too many lame jokes mixed into the dialogue, a few are okay, but never-ending is annoying. The sandbox is difficult and redundant. The art and some renders are decent, I would say.
