To be clear, I make no defense for the other characters strongly leaning to slutitude, but with Kari, it's weird that giving her the cold shoulder would be considered the 'default' for anyone!
Which is a totally valid outlook for real life, but here, the player IS the main character of the universe, and that can't be discounted.

I don't think this is actually true, I'd probably say based on the existing poll at the top it's probably at best 50/50 and realistically somewhat weighted more toward the "dark path". That position based on it being an adult game and there typically being more stuff on those paths to cater to that, and that based on that poll about 50% want slut or submissive and then another 25% want non exclusive girlfriend which I believe there are probably some portion that would choose "dark path" relationships for others if they want a harem.
I think a lot of it comes down to vague language. There may be plenty of people who are fine with what some would call 'dark' content (D/s-relationships and other bdsm elements, the MC being a bit of a prick in general) but aren't into the sharing/sluttification vibe that the game has increasingly been leaning into.

Usually I hate any kind of data collection by games, but this is one case where I wish the results of the monogamy/group sex questionaire near end were recorded and uploaded to dev. It'd be interesting to see what the actual numbers are. My hunch is that it's the common case of the patreon fanbase leaning one way with f95 vocally leaning the other. I could certainly be wrong though.
I'm not interested enough to think that in-game analytics would be in any way excusable, but did wonder what the point was of such a detailed questionnaire when it's (at least currenlty) used for nothing at all.

I just wish people, in general, would stop getting so butt hurt over shit. Each of us have had our own experiences in life and we all have different thoughts and feelings about shit. Of course there are going to be those who hate even the whisper of NTR while there are going to be others who want to see some sluttification. Interestingly, this thread has been pretty balanced, but the dev has obviously been getting some communications we are not seeing and I think that's too bad because the dude seems to be taking it pretty hard.
It has nothing to do with NTR being in the game, or the girls becoming 'slutty'. It has to do with the inconsistency, and the girls becoming more and more slutty without player input. If it was like this from the beginning of the game, no one would bat an eye. I'm not even talking about revealing clothes, I don't really give much of a shit about that. It's more-so their behavior and attitude. Neither Kari, nor Lois, were anything like they are now at the start of the game.
And to build on that, it's everything without player input, leaving fans of all fetishes disappointed.

I would say it is probably a first time dev realizing that providing choices creates a tremendous amount of work to create multiple versions of the same scene but when playing it you only get 1 version so the update feels short and telling a story that makes sense is hard when you try to make almost any scene avoidable.
And there's your winner. When I first discovered this game a couple of years ago, I was really impressed by the writing but it became obvious halfway through my first playthrough that it was growing out of control. Too many characters, too many side paths and wayyyy too many variables. I don't have any particularly strong feelings either way about the "dark path" and while I'm normally a "if you're not having fun, just stop playing and stop whining about it" kind of person, I get why people are irritated with the direction this game has slowly devolved in to. So many of the choices are dead ends, the characters often act in ways counter to the choices you make and the things they say and most of that is because he's trying to stuff 10 lbs. of shit in a 5 lb. bag.
