I know that a game being new means absolutely nothing when it comes to abandoned projects, but it shouldn't be. The latest post on the dev's Subscribestar was on the 17th February, where they state that the next version is in the works.
Also, we still don't know their update schedule, nor their post schedule. Some devs post once a week, others once a month.
I'd say to give it some time, nothing points to this project being abandoned.

So you wonder in a damn maze completely lost since no map so you can't get back to camp. Your only damn skill that is any good at all takes 10 damn mana! It's a damn skill not a spell so why the hell does it take 10 mana? So can only use 5 times. Found useless drawings that did nothing for you. When you arrive at the boss door it does not ask if you want to enter you just enter and die!
A dungeon crawler with no map that works.. She is too stupid to be drawing a map.. She is too stupid to consider if she should go in to a door with webs? The game is one of the worst Dungeon Crawlers I have ever played. Halfway to level and no items are ever found.. mushrooms that have no way around them that will carry you off and make you lose your bearings.. so even trying to draw your own map is useless.. The game is crap.

Yes, it wasn't really a big demo as much as a proof of concept so there isn't exactly much to abandon :/
It's not been abandonned, no. I was hit by Covid-19 and have been in hospital for the past two months. I was allowed to go back home today, though, so work resumes.
The new release had a few bugs that need hammering, but should be good to go in a little while. Hopefully within the week.

I hope you continue this game. The scenes are real good but combat is strange because its hard to figure out what the enemy responses will be, but when you figure it out, it is easy

the demo is on steam, part of nextfest so it will be gone in the next few days
I mean it's nice to have a free demo and all, but can it not be hosted on somewhere other than steam? Steam is a very community involved platform and not exactly wanting my owned games to be seen as "Elden Ring, Monster Hunter World, Some Porn Game". Though it would certainly be a funny awkward moment to see "1 friend already owns this game".
Just not wanting to go to the effort to make a new steam account when it could also be uploaded elsewhere surely?
