I checked it on another device by creating the save folder in the specified path and then running the game (for the first time on that device), which worked in my case.
I noticed that the game pulls your save files from somewhere in case you delete them in "AppData\Local\The_Second_Chance_Strip_Club".

Try deleting all your saves in the game (in Settings) and put in the new save files.
