Just completed Realm 3, at the end it said realm 4 coming 2025? so is there any news? i mean its January 2026. Loved it can't wait to get deeper in the story.

Hey everyone,
We thought we'd share a development update today instead, and this weekend we'll share a broader look back at 2025 and ahead to 2026 on Saturday or Sunday.
As of now, the next planned release covers the remaining few side paths. If you followed our development updates in November/December, you will know that the original plan was to launch this in December on both Patreon and then update everything on Steam before the end of the month.
We were somewhat vague last month about why we were unable to release, expressing only that our art director was unable to work. We won't share any personal information, but we think it is important to explain to you why we were delayed.
Our art director was unwell in November and returned from the hospital during the last week of the month. They were working on the side paths at the end of November and were on track to finish them for release in December; however, we have not heard from them since the start of December. We have no alternative means of contacting them, so we don't know whether their absence is due to the illness from November or to something else. We don't know their current situation, and if/when they will be able to return to work. We're very worried to have not heard from them in so long, and we hope they are ok, and that we hear from them soon.
As mentioned in previous posts, the side paths have all been posed, coded, and translated. The animations are also finalised. The only outstanding tasks for them are the final lighting and camera work on the still images. With our art director's absence, and in the interest of updating as soon as possible, we plan to launch the side paths using the current preview images we have, to allow you all to play it. We'll adjust the lighting in the future to ensure consistency between the paths.
Regarding Realm 4, we now have a team member working on its lighting and camera work. This is their first time working on lighting for the main game, so we don't yet know their pace, and there might be some slight inconsistency with our usual work, but we hope to have the first Realm 4 update with you in the next couple of months. We mentioned this a while ago, but Realm 4 will have fewer updates, each significantly larger than those of the previous Realms. So when we do launch, you should have a good amount of play time ready for you
We plan to have the side paths out within the next month. Realm 4 Update 1 within the next couple of months, and the first episode of ACTC within the first half of the year.
We are extremely sorry for the delays. We hoped to start this year with the side paths done and to jump straight into Realm 4. The past year has been a little rough for our overall development. We really appreciate everyone being patient. We've faced several setbacks, but once we get past this hurdle, we expect to get development back on track!

I guess I messed up when updating this game. I forgot to move my save from one to the other before deleting the old. Now I have to start all back over. LoL. Oh well. Been so long since I played this, what with playing other games, that I forgot some of what happened. And CTRL isn't speeding through what I already saw. Really need to stop taking so long a breaks when playing games I like.

You don't have a copy of the saves folder elsewhere? On Windows, for instance, it should be found at one of these spots, I believe:
Realms 1–2: C:\Users\[YourWindowsProfileName]\AppData\Roaming\RenPy\TheSevenRealmTest-1634466764
Realm 3: C:\Users\[YourWindowsProfileName]\AppData\Roaming\RenPy\TheSevenRealmTest-2634466764
IDK how that differs on Mac, Linux, or mobile, though. If you still have this second save folder, you normally should be able just to copy that back over to your primary game directory (in the \game folder there) and rename the copied folder to saves.

Tried that. Didn't know about it. But I guess I somehow deleted them as well. So I still have the start again. Oh well. I bought it on Steam anyway. And I don't play steam with WT mod's. Sometimes not even with a patch. But I put the twin patch on it. Thanks, anyway.

So. I'm trying to go from Realm 1 & 2 to Realm 3. I saved when it said to save. But the save isn't showing up in realm 3 at all. Do I need to move it from my Realm 1 & 2 game to the Realm 3 game physically? I tried moving the saves from my Steam version to the version I got off here, still doesn't work. Please someone, explain how I get it to take. Do I just click New Game and it eventually will load? Thanks!

you have to use the save importer. if you saved at the correct spot at the end of realm 2, you'll find it there.

I don't know what happened, but that wasn't there when I first booted up this. But it did this time. LoL. Oh well. Thanks for the help.

Okay. So. While I was trying to get the game to do the transfer I tried by moving the save from one/two to three. Then loading. As "import save" didn't show up the first three times I started it up. That took me straight to the Morwen sex sceens. Once I removed the saves, then the "import saves" showed up and I haven't had it happen since. So maybe that is what the others who have encountered it did as well? Just a thought.

Hey everyone!
I drafted a message last weekend covering a look back at 2025 and forward to 2026, but I ended up just saying most of the same things that we've discussed recently in our development updates, so I didn't end up posting it, as it felt like it was just a long post saying nothing new or particularly exciting.
That said, one thing I will carry over from that post is that in 2026, we're committed to getting things into gear and releasing new game updates.
We mentioned that our art director is currently absent, and that remains the case. We're currently working with two of our team members to take over his tasks. One is working on the lighting for ACTC, and the other one Realm 4. We're in the early stages, so there are a few teething issues. We need to ensure we all share the correct settings/add-ons in Blender, and we're providing feedback as we go. But ACTC and Realm 4 are now being lit.
Below is one of the new images for ACTC - we're trying to keep the style as consistent as possible with what we've already worked on for the project.
I've not dedicated time to finalising the side paths this week, as we've been focused on other tasks, such as what I mentioned above and a few other things. I'll check over the side path stuff next week. Next weekend, I hope to announce a realistic release date for the final R3 side paths.
