Heyo! Played through the new prologue: Pretty darned good! Both parents are fleshed out a bit more, you can feel the weight of their talents and choices. The father is *far* more likeable in this rendition instead of a bull headed too, which was nice to read. The new variety of paths is an interesting, if ambitious direction to take.

(I ended up with Artemis for now, though the 'lonely' moon makes me suspect it's going to be a barren and loveless journey, which is kind of what Aphrodite's ended up being. Heh.) It does feel like you will have your work cut out for you tweaking chapter 1 and beyond to match the prologue here and there. And of course, I'm curious what is in store for the other paths.

Candidly, I found Aphrodite's path to be a great deal of troublesome rules and nonsense, and for a goddess of love and charisma, I felt none, haha. Ares was interesting, but the one element I wanted to explore - sexy times with Madea and a possible prison break - spiralled into another matter entirely. Also he left for milk and cigarates at the start and never returned. Thus both gods are utter failures in mine eyes.

So we have a playground with gods, magic, men and monsters. Any hints as to which paths will be more of an adventurous tone, or full of lovely ladies and monster smex? They can't *all* be court intrigue and personal drama with factions, right? ...Right?

why people so aggressive against AI? especially to small developers, even big developers such as Activision use AI in development cycle, and i don't see any backlash against it

Ok, AI text in intro. It is not even that bad, but by now, any AI text causes strong revulsion. (Mostly because it complicated for sake of complexity, while having incredibly slow flow of information)
look man the image at the start of the thread is also obviously AI, this can't have been a huge surprise

What is the choice that affects accepting aphrodite's deal? I can encourage the father to fight if I am on the Ares path, but can't accept the deal. If I am on Aphrodite's path, I can't encourage the fight

Glad you liked it. The first time I wrote it, I was worried about taking too long to get to the 1st spicy scene; this is an erotica game after all. So I rushed the setup and quickly got the 1st spicy scene, which kind of ruined the story. So, now that I know where I made a mistake, I went back and corrected it and took some time with the setup.

I chose 'Artemis path' to write a strictly lesbian path so that the MC could maintain her virginity and swear off men and still sleep with women and be one with the wild, even though in the actual myth Artemis has nothing to do with being a lesbian (Artemis is the only one who even remotely comes close).

Unfortunately, the only option that makes sense is scrapping the existing Chapters 1 and 2 and creating new ones... a lot of work, but slowly, one passage at a time and one update at a time, I'll eventually get there. The current chapters 1 and 2 have good ideas in them, but they're not executed well.

So far, I am thinking Artemis will only have other ladies as options for romance, and there might be nothing available for the Athena path considering Athena is revered for her chastity, so no romance. Godless, Aphrodite, and Ares paths are all fair game; anything goes... men, women, beasts, you name it. I honestly have not decided where I need to take chapters 1 and 2 in the rewrites. I have a vague idea and a plan, but it can change when I put pen to paper.

Let me know if there is anything specific you would like to see; I'll try to include it in my plans (if it fits, that is). I am always open to suggestions.

I was initially surprised by the backlash against it too. So, I voluntarily added this in the disclaimer. I don't want to mislead anyone. Maybe I should have used this disclaimer from the very start. A lesson learned.

Previously you could freely choose if you wanted to encourage the father to fight or agree to Erythia's deal during the fight or otherwise. But now since the prologue changed how the paths work, these options are now cut off. If you are on the Aphrodite path, you will not be able to choose certain options, and likewise for the Ares path too. The upcoming updates with chapter 1 rewrites should fix this.

yeah, I think it's a good idea.

I really dislike when big companies leave AI stuff in their products (and contrary to a previous comment, there has been huge backlash against AI things in games), but I understand how it allows small teams to do things they otherwise just couldn't, and my preference is for this game to exist.

I think you made the right call by limiting your genAI use to the atmosphere and background.

Hrmm. Well, cards kinks on the table, there were elements in the original paths that were few and far between, but held my interest and curiosity. Namely things that would be fun to explore in this setting. Sexy times with the guardian types (aka mom and dad wincest), the literal horseplay, and of course well hung beasts and monsters from that era of the greek gods.

If going the 'godless' route, it could be fun to have sort of a wandering heroine sort of yarn, similar to other demi gods journeys such as Hercules... only with a lot more laying, instead of slaying of said monster gallery. Nymphs, dryads, a drunken orgy with satyrs, solving the riddles of centaurs and other half human, half beast types. All great stuff.

The angle here could be the heroine is so fed up with the gods fighting over her and effectively ruining her parents lives that she gives them *all* the finger, and tells them if they want her favor, it's on *them* to earn it. But until then she's going to explore the world and see everything she's been missing until now.

Or maybe she's roaming and trying to correct the mistakes left over from the gods generally fucking around.

Anyway, a lot more adventure and freedom than being packed into the political drama. Not to say it should be an easy ride by any stretch. Win some, lose some and all that. As for romance options, I wouldn't mind seeing more of Madea, or perhaps our heroine ends up with her own traveling partner, a Gabriel to her Xena (or the other way around) so there can be some group sex, teamwork scenes, room for some creative scenarios and whatnot. Almost certainly some bandit grape at some point.

For example, I was really into the scenario of the heroine trying to rescue the mom, or vice versa, only for them both to end up flipped on their backs due to the trechery involved. Only I was figuring they could work together, or recover and rise above the challenge/adapt after being stuffed full of antagonist wang, buuuuuut... it sort of went in a very different direction, haha.

One thing that was also tragically missing was the hermaphrodite types, so we could have our cheesecake beauties and deepthroat it too. Perhaps a way to explore that is our MC could court/date the gods instead on more even footing instead of the status of the slave/servitude angle. Or just get banged by some angels, because why not.

Anyway, I'm full of semi useless ideas. If you'd like more, just say the word, haha. And best of luck with the rest of the project and the troublesome rewrites.
