Any way to get Ordinary memories? I've collected all the Hero memories from 1 to 26, all the memories of Elite monster girls, 11 End of the road memories, but im still missing some Ordinary memories...
Are those random drops from enemies or is there a concrete way to get them?

Other than weight and drop rate bonus, is there any other reason to beat the game on Hardcore?
Currently on it and I feel like the second boss is insanely difficult.

The same reason why you would play any game on Hardcore, the Challenge, the Achievement.

The game is fair in terms of difficulty as it gives you all the tools you need although it is a bit grindy by design.

hardcore is for people who know all the mechanics of the various bosses and cheese methods and want to show it off.
it's grindy on normal just because of how quickly your initial level gets outscaled by enemies, by chapter 4 start, you can't immediately enter layer 4 without really good weapons (insane damage, or high damage high kb% or good ranged skill/aoe spam) and that's not profitable (duh). in fact even if you enter layer 3 it's suspect without a decent weapon (high damage or decent damage with kb/range) and for a gathering run you probably want to start from layer 2 and climb up for extra exp.

I haven't tested it yet but it's probably good to put a true sight potion on a cheap but sturdy accessory so you have better chance of detecting traps. late traps are brutal to just run into, esp if you tend to clear every room.

Really wish there was the nuke buttons like maidensnow eve has with the judgement scrolls, you could alway spam 2 or 3 to clear a room (or the general area 10ish tiles if open field map).

I would love a table showing accessory chest locations. specifically I'm trying to find the accessory that lowers durability use.

Edit: Also the altars that say "You who are blessed with the spirit of x... identify your House." Is there a list of the required weapons for these?

From my understanding you need both range and detect chance, so the accessory needs both the Offense and Defense Effects on a accessory, and how much you get from potions is limited anyway.
So you would need to make a weapon that stacks those effects to make it into an essence or find an accessory that already has that effect stacked.
You are honestly better off using the Defense Charm that protects you from traps automatically.

That's how the Forbidden Blade is intended for but that costs Erosion.

You can generally remake a decent weapon with materials on the map, it's good to have a heroine weapon material on hand to have something reliable.
Where you get screwed with crafting is with the amount of enchantments and if you want to craft a specific weapon, that is best done at the base with materials you collect.
The problem with not being able to craft weapons reliably is that you keep losing the Skill Levels and the good Enchantment Effects.

Really half of the issues people have with the grind in the game could be solved if they just gave you +20 more additional Storage Slots initially.

The game isn't running for me on Linux, the game's window opens up but stays stuck at the main menu.
I use GE-Proton through Lutris.

It's weird because it's a RPGmaker game, there shouldn't be such problems but the weird software they use (some sort of DRM?) causes issues that aren't there normally. Anyone found a solution? Else, anyone able to run the game through wine/proton without issues?

True. But it's really not reliable to get defense charms compared to true sight pot, and they run out super fast.

Re: forbidden blade
No, that's not even close. Forbidden blade skills can barely cover half a room, it's for clearing your immediate vicinity (and it's not that much better than repulsion stone). It does basically nothing on a distortion map, for example, whereas the judgement scrolls in Maidensnow can hit an entire corner (aka most of the enemies on the map), and spamming 2-3 of them basically kills any amount of anything.

re: decent weapon
It's a lot better if you're actually racking up the perma-boost souls, but i haven't done enough runs for that. I also don't really bother with enchant effects beyond 'deal more damage' because big number makes brain feel good (though i do understand that getting stuff like sleep%, stun%, kb% especially are strong). I also like hoarding my best weapons and feel kinda shitty using nukes on normal enemies, though now i have shanoa i should probably be less of a stickler considering i've stockpiled like 10 weapons in the chest and carry another 5.

Generally yeah, would help a ton, though there is the “fun” part that for true hoarders, no amount of inventory space is enough (see the above).
