Please, read a few comments up. The folder disppeared literally just a few seconds ago. It was probably deleted by MEGA due to copyright issues (they updated their rules) so I highly doubt that they can make a new MEGA folder and be okay; the same thing will happen again. They will probably have to find a new place to host everything which is getting more difficult every day.

We don't really have a dispute here (even though we really do??).
I am pretty sure MEGA will side with the creators. I can't think of a single place where we can upload the mods where we won't get hit with a copyright notice (Google Drive, SimFileShare and now MEGA). VK has survived because most of the people that host CC there are from Russia and Russia doesn't give a fuck about petty greedy creators lmao.

I've been here a while and I have yet seen the MEGA folder go down. If it goes down its usually for technical issues.
This time its down for ToS/AUP violation so that's hella different. Somebody (or MEGA itself) issued a copyright infringement notice on it which essentially deleted the entire folder and its content. You can dispute it but... on what grounds can we?

It was all start with people who were sharing something here like finfin. Then topic is deleted and new topics are created but it didnt work. Discord server was created for this purpose but it didnt take long. Mega was working perfectly but all good things have ends dont they?

dispute that they have legal ownership of it. If it was one who steals from another game, that could be used. Or that they are IN violation of EA/origion TOS, therefore they do not own it. Also i believe they have to share who disputed it. And we could post their information here.
That's unfortunate.
But at least they can't take away the files we already have lol.

This sims shit is really getting on my nerves. No offense to sims 4 creators especially the talented ones but they do not own a damn thing. They did not create sims 4. Everything is becoming a money grab and its so sick
