That's what I wanted to talk about a lot of people here are paying for different games so that they can leak them.

sorry to say that but i do not see any interest for a hacker to come here to leak some game illegally.

I totally see the point of your complains and I understand it.
My only objection would be that it doesn't take much time to join Discord and check from time to time. Also the vast majority of leaks is present both here and there.
While I can't specifically force the leakers to post on both platform, yeah it would be better if f95 had the upmost priority.
But, again, as stated... leakers will do whatever they want, it's in the nature of their role, in the end.

F95 is an pirate website.
that's why you can access most of patreon paywall games for free, and also some others big game (AAA) for free too.

Wickedwhims animators and modders can't legally copyright their work. It is still supposed to be free and profit-less (incomes are based on donations, rather than selling). Therefore what we're doing is technically legal. It's just morally questionable.
But then again, so is the behaviour of animators/modders who paywall their stuff for 2+ months when told otherwise.

I think it'd be bad if most of these creators (not only the WW ones) were at least following the rules of EA (maximum 2 weeks behind patreon paywall before releasing the stuff for free for everyone), but as it isn't the case, then why should we follow rules that CC Creators themselves are not respecting ?

that's exactly what F95 is.
beside being a pirate website, its also the bigger (i dont know bigger one) showcase website for creators, games or mods or else.

btw , is somebody know a good mod for change sims size ? like taller or shorter. i cant find any :/ ( would like to add variation in my game, and not see all teen taller as adult or doing some midgets sims ). no problem if its not compatible with WW...

that's not very correct in principe...

modding is supposed to be free and a hobby. (that's the origin of modding )
sinze the creation of patreon, modding turned very very fast into a way to get money.
sims modders are a good exempl of this change. such as others like popular games modders from skyrims or others big games.
that's the difference between mods and dlcs ( wich sometime are also free, but most dlcs are pay ), a mod is a way to show the appreciation of a game by working on it to make it better or adding things you will like in it and original dev doesnt.
that's also why steam fail miserably when they tryed to implent pay-mods.
if a mod is made for money, then its not a mod and it should be accepted by the original dev and become an "official mods" (wich technically should stay free)

Have you tried the height sliders ? That's the most known one afaik, and if broken animations doesn't bother you, it'll be perfect then (i don't use it because of the animations, not only WW but also the basic EA ones)

It's even simplier than this.
EA owns the rights of TS4 game, and also allows Patreon donation. But it's not like these Patreon pages are their own thing, no. They are a derivation of the main product (TS4), thus they can't technically capitalize on it, since it's not their property and they can't copyright a derivation of a main product.
Creators CAN receive donations, that can be done. But they can't LEGALLY claim their works since it's based on a product which isn't theirs to begin with.
Conclusion: no laws are broken when leaking TS4 mods. You're mostly flipping off the original artists, and that's about it.
It's technically considered illegal downloading a pirate copy of TS4 than leaking a TS4 mod, ironically.

Some of the people that go (to F95zone) don't go to (discord) and some that go to (discord) don't go to (F95zone)..
I mean if they posted their leaks to both (F95zone & Discord) (and someone also posted the link they already posted) I can see them bitchin ,, but if they only post in (Discord) and then come here to (F95zone) to bitch (about something they didnt post on F95zone that someone else did) ,, that's not right ..
So if its not posted here on (F95zone) and only posted there on (Discord) , then anybody should be able to post it to (F95zone) .

Answering the @MiSFiT203 version and i hope it serves as answer to @Coolz too.
Now, what nonsense is happening, leakers deciding where they want to post? Nothing wrong with that!
Leakers getting mad for people reposting, i agree it's too much, and that will be discussed more with the leakers, that's all.

which makes sense. F95zone is the official home of the thread, where many of us have been coming for a long time, so why should discord get the exclusive posts. not everyone likes discord. if some people dont wanna post here or want their leaks posted here, maybe we can put out a request for someone else to support those specific creators who would be willing to post it here. since this is the actual "the-sims-4-mod-collection" thread, not discord.

i'm guessing some might not be happy with this post, but i thought discord was supposed to be like an enhancement, not a replacement.

To make something clear, F95zone, Patreon Rebels and DownWithPatreon are three different things, three different teams with three different ways of doing things!
If someone wants to post only here, it shall be, if someone want to post only on discord, the same. The leaker is spending his money and donating to the community, he can do whatever he wants to his file! Now, i agree that demading that something can't be posted on one of the sides is too much and it will be looked on. But people saying that leakers should be always posting on both sides for their convenience are being selfish, wanting to ask someone to pay for something already being shared on one of the sides is crazy foolish, if you want something now you will go to where it was shared, if not then wait for the fucking folder update, since in the fucking end...
