He said he found a bug. Sound like the bug had been fixed later... Anyhow, the way the mods and other things are stored in the Mega folder in their native form, there is no real way to tell if they are new or old. Things used to be zipped by the creators which would give you a real idea of when they might have been created since zipping preserves the dates. Posting .package files does not. The moment you download them they take on the current date. (pretty much the same for any file to be honest except for those contained in an archived format like zip.)

Yes, exactly. The dancer trait was not showing text in CAS so I went to the discord and asked and I was pointed out that I am using an old version. After downloading the new version from website it was fixed. I went into a download spree and I found the Geologist not matching the sizes between website and mega.

It is difficult to track as there is no proper history and the discord and website release notes do not always align and yeah...it is a nightmare... what is worse you don't download them as a pack, but as individual .package...

I'm using the newest script for TSR and it IS working (no wait times, immediate downloading) but can you still not download multiple files at once like the VIP mentions? I hate having to open up something like 30 extra tabs just to get all the CC

That's why I don't bother much with TSR. I especially never download sims from there. I'm far too lazy to gather all the cc since they don't allow anyone to upload sims with cc.

People are already helping you so that's great. It is most likely an outdated mod or conflicting mods, specially if you downloaded the entire MEGA folder without individually checking what you want/need from it.

But I also wanted to point out that you shouldn't have to offer money for something as simple as a broken/conflicting mod. If someone tells you to pay them for that... walk away; you will find help somewhere else. You might end up paying for something extremely simple to fix. Unless you want to give them something for their time, that is, that's up to you, but you shouldn't have to pay for that.

Also do not give strangers in the internet remote control access to your computer. Never. Ever. The amount of bad they can do to you, personally, and your computer is immense.

I know that your game crashing because of mods can seem like a very deep and confusing rabbit hole (Specially if you have a lot of mods, are new to the game or modding scene and english its not your first language) but after a couple of minutes, at most an hour, of doing the 50/50 method, you will find what's crashing your game (if its a mod. It can also be a corrupted save file).

Oh yeah.... Good old TSR... Used to be you could never DL a sim anywhere with CC included. But on TSR, they didn't want anything that wasn't on their site exclusively to ever be included in a DL... It was part of their old "paywall" attitude. Yeah, I know some creators get their shorts in a knot when their stuff is included without credit. Well, that ship sailed long ago. Glad people are including CC now for the most part. I hate all the hunting..

TSR... They got a serious spanking from EA several years ago. TSR used to keep everything behind a paywall. They were making lots of money, and EA got pissed and threatened them. Pretty much "bring down the paywall or see you in court". That's the only reason they are free now. Our current crop of Patreon Pirates haven't been around long enough to remember I suppose, but EA can be real pricks when they think you're taking money out of their hands. Just wondering when EA will strike again. lol.

Here's a clue: not everybody WANTS the entire archive. Posting each package individually allows folks to pick the traits (or whatever) individually without having to download the whole collection, only to weed out things for which they have no use. I spent literal hours organizing this stuff to be accessible for everyone.

I've been working out of town for the last two weeks and was not in a situation to update; with that exception, I literally post updates from my inbox to mega, which means that as soon as I get an update, I pass it along. Anything that is bugged/out-of-date is an issue with the creator, not me.

The majority of people here seem to appreciate the efforts that leakers take and respect that we also have lives outside this community. To all of them, thank you for your forbearance and understanding. To everyone else (looking at you FireSplitter)....you aren't worth my time. Quit whining- you are entitled to exactly nothing. Its ungrateful prats such as yourself who make this a headache.

First off, I am sorry that I am trying to be of help. I will not try to point out anything or something that is wrong again, I am sure people will receive help from support forums when they will complain about problems.
As you have told me I will go check myself up. Seems I have been whining...I don't seem to remember doing that.

P.S. Your Dancer trait is from 20/3 (conflicting with the aspiration as mentioned on the blog), the one from kiara's site (today) is from 3/29 "Dancer Trait is now working – It was missing text in CAS. Thank you Scarlet for the help! " I am sorry it missed your inbox.
