I don't remember how it started, but I remember a few weeks ago YouTubers posted news that an adult mod (referring to CL's mod), which actually exists for long ago, only came to be known to the public at that time. And the thumbnail of the posts refers to WW mod.

As you can imagine, people not familiar with WW blamed him for supporting child pornography, bestiality, rape, etc etc. Later on it was corrected that it is actually CL's mod, but the damage was done. Of course, to clear his name, WW does not want anything to do with CL, and as a modder myself (though for other games), I completely understand.

The public was (or, is) furious about the fact of child pornography and bestiality in CL's mod. I'm not saying that rape is not important, but those two contents are highly regarded as so wrong on so many levels for public opinion.

I don't think CL will remove said contents, but if he does (only leaving BDSM and nonconsent contents intact), I think it will become more acceptable?
These are just my own opinion anyway.

If you mean CN, he doesn't have cp in any of his mods. Animals are another thing, but games like Skyrim and Fallout have had critter stuff going on for as long as I've known them with no backlash that I've seen, probably because the Sims is more mainstream. My thing is, it's better that people use the Sims for this than to do this stuff in real life, and CN doesn't condone the abuse of real life people, animals, etc.

Then can anyone explain why CN was banned from LoversLab (LL) twice?
LL revoked his first ban, as in the past, he did have child pornography content. It was well known to everyone in the community there. But LL wanted to give him a chance, hence the revoke.
I know very well that LL accepts BDSM, rape, and even bestiality.

I'm not as well aware as the reason for the second ban. But I do know that LL is now very vocal against child pornography.
And I can check with one of the LL admins myself as I've talked with said person several times.

Also just want to be clear, I'm not here to create another drama, I just want to point out that some people here misunderstand that the reasons for the hate were BDSM and rape. Well, they are but they're not the main fuel.

Also, the demographic of Sims 4 gamers and Bethesda (Skyrim, Fallout) gamers are different. You need to be aware that more than half of the Sims 4 gamers are women, which is in contrast with Bethesda games.
Men tend to accept bestiality, while women don't.

Also, the bestiality content in Skyrim and Fallout are for wildlife and monsters. In contrast with Sims 4, which are cute pets (cats and dogs). I'm against bestiality myself but if my opinion is disregarded, there is still quite a gap between these bestiality contents (scary vs cute), and you can't ignore this fact.

I said it was more mainstream, which was to say it attracts more people that aren't exposed to degenerate shit on the regular whether it be casual gamers, women, or whatever. My point in commenting is that there is no association between CN's mods and child pornography in this moment in time, and making a casual association like that is slanderous, especially when he isn't the one responsible for making the current cp mods that were discussed in Pixelade's video.

Hey guys!

CC links that are uploaded onto the "CC in General" google doc are not working - the website that the CC is uploaded to letupload.io recently had a server issue due to a fire at their base and, in effect, has caused the website to have issues, making downloads not work.

Is it possible that you guys are able to upload the CC content to a backup google doc (Uploaded onto a different hosting website,) so users can download stuff while the main one is saved until letsupload.io sort things out?

I'm not attacking anyone. Proof was asked for, so I provided some proof of how this friction started. Started being the key word. Started. Not how things are now, but the reason the road has been rough for him.

I don't have anything against CN, I know he has a thread for his mod on this forum. I hope it does well. If you want to make that kind of content, knock yourself out. Modders should make whatever they want to make. But freedom of creation doesn't mean freedom from consequence.

Everyones getting the error. The site they uploaded everything to is down so no downloads are working. I made a post further up explaining the situation and asked that they make a new google docs sheet but they are probably just unaware of the situation. Can't do nothing but wait.

Fair enough. I apologize. I can get somewhat... annoyed when someone is presenting something factually accurate, but is challenged by just opinion.

Like I said in a previous reply, I've got nothing against his current work. But those old modules have been a large and difficult hurdle to overcome.

Sims 4 Community Library is a modding framework not used by these mods. Other modders, including CN, use S4CL as a framework to make their own mods for The Sims 4.

S4CL was the mod that Turbo was attempting to disable through the use of malicious code in Wicked Whims. If he was really trying to make an honest attempt to stop this Pedophile mod from making the rounds, he would've disabled the Pedophile mods specially.

But he didn't do that, he disabled Framework required by mods to work rendering those mods useless.

If you browsed the sheets you probably know how many files we have, so asking us to move/re-upload all of that because the host has been having problems (that seems to be mostly fixed by now) it's insane and definitely a NO.

Both of these statements are categorically NOT true. The use of sex mods in games probably has a higher percentage of male users, but even then you'd be surprised. However that has nothing to do with the game itself or the way it was designed and intended to be played by the developer, and the notion that women only like certain kinds of games is ridiculous.
