Well...there are for sure reasons why it is as it is. But it is easy to switch between google accounts and the chosen files are automatically cloned to the GDrive of the used account. Not sure what the issue is for you. Maybe one more step to download the files once everyhting is set up. Complaining about everything is a serious society issue these days.

No you don't have to authenticate every single time. You can choose the account at the header and go...

Do you have underwear CC's?

That happened to me too. I fixed it by removing the underwear CC that my sims always wear when they have an infinite / visual bug.
