Are the issues now after Get Famous is released? I want to upgrade to the next expansion but I am afraid WW is still broken for it.

Nope, WW has been updated! Most mods have been updated since the patch, and EA just released a patch today that cleaned up most, if not all, errors! Depending on the mods you play with, you should be good to update!

If I have the Games4theworld version, do you know if can I use the codex version as well??
Would the update be 1.47.51? I see that the latest version that is compatible is 1.47.49.
Is it possible to update the Sims 4 to the next expansion? I currently have Seasons and want to go to Get Famous but when I look at the requirement for the Get Famous update, it said i need to have Get Famous CODEX. Would I have to uninstall Seasons and download the Get Famous CODEX?
i have 1.47.49 patch from games4theworld, then update using codex 1.47.51, the game running fine

I'm using the latest version of WW with 1.47.51, and I've had no problems. You just don't want to download a WW that's compatible with 1.47.51, but you only have 1.47.49 version of the game installed. Only then it wouldn't be compatible. So you're good!

If you're asking about the patch from yesterday, the installer will work without a glitch if your game already is up to the "Get Famous". Regardless of where you get the game, they are all from CODEX, just shared in different ways in different sites.
I always recommend people getting it there, since is the first place that's available and it comes from the group that cracked it.
You can get only the update from games4theworld (around 8GB I believe) or you can get the full game from CODEX (around 32GB). Both are from CODEX, just available in different ways. Some prefer getting the full game since it saves time and copy/pasting new files over the older ones, plus the chance of messing things up, so it's up to you.
Once you installed/updated the game to "Get famous" you can download the patch that was released yesterday and apply it, from one of the sites I cited above.

If going for the full install, I would instead get the 20GB one from FitGirl-Repacks; it's the same as the 1.47.49 from CODEX, only far more compressed. You can then install the 1.47.51 patch over it.

but everytime I try to launch it, it opens Origin. My Sims 4 Seasons one only launched the game. Did I download the wrong one or do I need to edit something? I got my Seasons iso from TPB if that matters.While pirating with mods can cause issues, I think you might have either forgot to use the crack or opened the wrong .exe file to open the game. Probably the first one though.

So I am not sure how to use the crack then. Since the one I got from TPB, I just installed the game and launched. Am I suppose to copy the files from the Bin folder to the Sims 4?
