Hey, so no one is mentioning it anywhere, so I feel like it's known why DWP didn't update this Friday? Not even the "adult only" side updated. Anyone care to share what's happened? There's a lot of pieces I was looking forward to getting from them this Friday. Haha!

I was wondering if one of Turbo's patrons can submit a WickedWhims exception from me. It might mean more if it was from a patron, as I'm using a Patreon version.

I also got a regular LE at the same time. I've read it and it sure seems like WW is the culprit. Not sure how serious it is though. Anyone else want to take a crack at it?

I'm currently beginning the initial design phase for a 50 meter tall marble statue in honor of you. I think the permit process may pose a challenge, but you and your last post is worth it. If you have any design suggestions to make, I'm open.;)

BTW: If anyone uses UI Cheats Extension it's currently borked; as best I can tell anyway.

UI Cheats Extension was borked, but Weerbesu released a fix.

Seriously, I wasted 2 damned hours on my day off looking for the culprit. Two damned friggin' hours sifting through 3.5 GB of mods looking to find what was borking my game. I agonized over LE's, did game repairs, and even out-right deleted mods only to come to the same conclusion that Weerbesu came to since before I even began my hunt. I could have cleaned the house, washed my car, or other fun things. Instead I sat here for 2 hours digging into a 3.47GB mods folder. I had to unplug my speakers because the Sims 4 loading music is now stuck in my head from repetition.

Moral of the story: If you have a legit game, check your mod authors for fixes or error reports after every update and BEFORE you both loading up the game. If EAxis disabled Mods after an update, just assume something is broken and find out what that is on the internet. Otherwise you'll be ranting and raving about wasted time on forums because none of your friends wants to hear you bitch anymore. Projection much?

Hey guys,wanted to try this out for ages but I've always had problems getting my head round what mods to use and how to get the sims nude, etc. Could anyone start me off in the right direction with suggestions on a couple good compatible mods that I could use?

Also I don't really understand what MCC and wicked whims mods do?

Edit: I have tried to put some mods on but I'm getting missing torsos and waists and I've got no idea what's going on and why this is happening? I know it's not great to ask for help especially when there's a lot of good information but I've followed it as much as I can (like not putting too many layers of folders) and I'm still unsure as to what is going on. Keep in mind I'm very new to this as most of the mods I add to games usually involve steam where everything is done for you :S

It also includes some default body parts, but if you haven't noticed yet; hardly anybody uses the default bodies because they're... bad. So to fix that problem some other modders have taken to making new body parts. One of the more popular choices is BetterBody by Hiroki. Personally, I like Pornstar cock and default top for males. For females I use Sopor's breasts and the default BetterBody bottom. You can find Sopor's breasts on LL

. Be sure to read that post and the file information carefully as there are some installation quirks. You'll also want to have body details, which I can't recommend Wild Guy's body details enough. I also use Necrodog's HD feet as replacement feet for all genders and ages. Those HD feet are high-poly count so they can tax slower systems if they're already operating near their limits. I'm also including my Better Body folder should have everything you need (except for Pornstar cock) to get your sims naked and have a decent-looking body. Just download both folders from the Mega link, unzip both, and move them to your main Mods folder. Then you'll have to go in-game and choose the various options you want your sims to have via the WickedWhims body selector system. , the more you'll learn what things do and how to set up the mods to your liking. Look into the big Mega folder on the front page of that mod and you can find patreon versions and updates of lots of the things I mentioned in this paragraph. Check back every Friday for updates.

MCCC is a very powerful tool that will give you nearly complete control of much of the game's mechanics. You can use it to cheat, or make the game more challenging. You can use it to, nearly, make The Sims 4 a completely different feeling game. Each sim as a menu when you click on them for sim-specific options, and you'll probably be in there a lot. A computer will have another menu with more general options and things that you'll hardly ever have to use once you get the settings tweaked (if you want to change any of them). You'll also notice that a mailbox has yet another menu with "global" settings which you will probably never use and I even forget about that menu existing. Take a look at the

for help exploring the different features of MCCC and how to find their settings in-game.

As for nesting folders, look in your main Mods folder for a file called "resource.cfg" and open that up. It should tell you how deep you can go nesting folders. *.package is one layer, */*.package is 2 layers etc. It will help you planning a good organizational system (necessary for sanity when your Mod folder approaches 3.5 GB like mine). I also recommend you have a separate folder for testing purposes so you can try things out in-game before putting them in their final resting place, that way you don't have to hunt for something you don't like or something that causes problems.

Hopefully I didn't forget anything, or leave anything out. Downloading those 2 folders I provided should get you started on the right track. If you have any other questions: ask. Poke around in settings and see what things do. If you borked your family, try to "un-bork" them since it's good practice. This is just the first level of Wonderland, and it only gets madder from here.
