I only remembered this game when I saw a Grey Hound update.
Holy shit That's something I didn't expect.
I always though the echo team are a nice bunch given how many finished high quality game they made.
Is that why the whole team feel like in habitat recently?
What really happened? The words from both side are not adding up.
No way a disagreement would lead to this result from a longtime dev group like Echo's, unless it's some lasting feuds, and this George did something that became the last straw.
And If George is the only one on the team that's working, it should be him wanting to part ways, not be kicked out.
Checked George's bluesky but didn't find anything meaningful.
At any rate, this is actually a good thing for both party long-term (tho not so much for the game).
If the differences are so big that led to this result, it's better part ways. So they are not Cripping each other.
