I don't actually think the art is that bad...
If it was homogenous. But I have the feeling that the fighters in the second screen (scale, man, SCALE! What kind of midgets live in that town?) aren't the same style as that town nearby. Looks like the creator really just wanted to put them in there.

MSpaint? Huh. People complain about text-based, but no art is better than really bad art, so long as you aren't trying to do a funny. Or you can always claim it's placeholder.

I agree, but only if they actually learn 3D modelling.
Too many games just stick with the readily available stock models and environments, which has lead to seeing the same 3 main characters across six or seven games. It's cheap and beyond easy (why so many do it), but also quite disappointing.
So if they don't have the desire to actually put in the effort to learn it right, I personally prefer the mediocre art.

i appreciate his work and that he´s sharing, but it must be said in truth: if you can´t draw and you have no Artist at Hand or don´t want to use 3d modeling or pics out of the Internet it would be better to just make a html game first with only text.
because this! is an abomination Right out of hell. if anybody can come to this pics i am losing hope in humanity.

I've honestly seen a lot worse in flash games in the past decade.
Granted, for the purpose of most games here, the art might not do, but there's text/story based games that still use graphics for illustrations of locations and to quickly show the appearance of a character, and I think for that purpose, homogeneity is more important than any other qualities.
- I just happen to not be interested in Star Wars at all since Disney bought it, so I will never know if this game can capitalize on those areas eventually.
