I'll admit, the first thing I thought when I saw the guy was "Is that Keanu Reeves?"

Honestly, though, I imagine something by me would not even look this good, so props to the dev for doing this well and being confident enough to get it out there for people to see. I've not tried it yet, so can't critique the game play.

Considering text based games are some of the biggest money makers in adult gaming, not that many people complain.

i appreciate his work and that he´s sharing, but it must be said in truth: if you can´t draw and you have no Artist at Hand or don´t want to use 3d modeling or pics out of the Internet it would be better to just make a html game first with only text.

While there are similarities, writing an HTML game in Twine not the same as writing game events in Ren'Py. Neither of those is like building dialog trees or random encounters in RPGM. And after a significant amount of work has been done using one game engine, the amount of effort it would take to move to a different one is usually not worth the effort.

I've honestly seen a lot worse in flash games in the past decade.

I'm not a fan of the art style either, but I'll give props for trying original artwork. Better that stealing a bunch of random unrelated pics off Google, or using the same four 3D models you see in every. Fucking. Game. ​

As for my opinion, the art is fine and the writing is good. I'll just wait to see how the content develops. The Star Wars universe is a great place to make a game because it is huge and well developed. There are even several different timelines to choose from. I'm hoping this VN (according to the tag) is able to have enough flexibility and play ability to be considered a game.

Truth is, while certainly not top shelf, the art in this game is better than 99 out of 100 people can manage. In fact, were there any posts by anyone offering to help with the art? Hmmm? Crickets? Porn games with terrible art aren't really sexy. Learn 3d modeling or maybe get someone that can draw better. Sorry mate.

If it was homogenous. But I have the feeling that the fighters in the second screen (scale, man, SCALE! What kind of midgets live in that town?) aren't the same style as that town nearby. Looks like the creator really just wanted to put them in there.

Granted, for the purpose of most games here, the art might not do, but there's text/story based games that still use graphics for illustrations of locations and to quickly show the appearance of a character, and I think for that purpose, homogeneity is more important than any other qualities.

Agreed, SW's been shit since Disney. Rey not really fapable in my opinion. I'm setting the story here before the new movies, but with "scenes and vistas" from them, and oldschool characters. Salt planet, pretty cool concept, right?
