If you saying it finished, those who put their money into this expect it very polished and ALL scenes colored, no that kind of crap. You cannot even fix the MC being stuck in one direction bug in Kingdom Subversion
Otherwise the Complete tag will NOT cut it and you might very much disappoint the backers

1) People don't get banned for critiquing work. They get banned for leaking content or for breaking the server rules (which basically amount to don't be an asshat)
2) The sketch series that this started as is finished. It was never a game. It was never meant to be a game and people never paid for supporting a game. The rewards were for sketches. I just added in some dialogue and chucked it into rpg maker for fun (and used my own money to get some of the scenes coloured / animated / VAed)

I sure as hell don't wanna divert this to the Kingdom Subversion, but how come the MC being stuck just in one direction bug (which is tantamount to gamebreaking bug, even if fixes do exist) is something that is still not fixed? Does anyone on Discord even mentioned? You really wanna take a look at KS thread if you interested.
Onto your first point, banning off the leakers is not gonna stop the others from still leaking the content through other channels by others. Piracy and content sharing is something that cannot be killed off.
Overall point is that the expectations on this being finished to the very point of shining was simply too great. You should have repeated that this is nothing more than a small side project which would have at least somewhat cooled the expectations

I never claimed to be stopping piracy. It's simply policy to ban them. Again, this is pretty much off topic.

It seems as though people would have preferred I just kept the sketches just as sketches, without any fun extra fluff for the sake of people getting expectations they shouldn't have. Crazy.

Expectations tend to be high if you do not temper them. Any Dev worth the salt should know that to some extent. Simple as that.
Crazy? Maybe for you, but the fact that you generally stay radio silent on subscribestar definitely did not fill the one with confidence.

A fun incentive to promote interest in the main game. Certainly a unique 'kink', but it does scratch a certain itch. Kittena is as always, my favourite. It's probably the voice actress who adds that extra panache.
Do I need to post about there being no NTR in TSP? No Incest? After all, someone might have the expectation that these will come to the game. How often do I need to post to make sure these expectations are subverted? (These are rhetorical questions to emphasize how ridiculous your comment is.)
Additionally, I respond to the majority of questions I receive on Subscribestar (assuming the message came from a paid subscriber of course).

It depends what they're asking. If they're asking genuine questions about the game I will reply. If they are bug reporting, I will log it. If they are making statements like "ADD THIS IN THE GAME", then yeah I'll likely ignore it.

I did have false expectation toward AU and post hateful comment here. I apologize. Maybe I was wrong, I still appreciate the great work, I even got both the games translated into my mother tongue self-paid, but I guess feelings don't lie, I really was upset seeing AU not going the way I want it to. But all of that came from my false expectation, so what can I say? I am sorry for causing the mess.
It's fine, no real harm no foul. Honestly, it does make me really happy to hear people enjoyed the project as much as they did (and a total surprise) and the fact you got it translated too is really awesome. It's something I might return to in the future as I'd like to get at least each of the crew's coloured images animated that would be neat (out of my own pocket of course). And I'll likely do another small update in the future when I've got VAs for all the different crew members too. All the best

I am already delusioned with a lot of devs who might threw a chew bone once a year. I already seen some projects abandoned with their devs running over the hills with cash.

Thank you for clarifying. I apologise for coming across condescending and I definitely jumped the gun in assuming you were one of my usual haters. For that I genuinely apologise for.
I appreciate that there are plenty of devs out there who do the bare minimum, who do promise things and fail to deliver and just walk away without a word and people are left feeling like they were scammed. I think this is why I try and defend myself and the work I do so much, because I do not believe I am one of these devs. I'm aware I've made plenty of mistakes over the years (some of which I am still paying for to this day despite it being almost 7 years now), but I do my best to be as communicative and forward as possible so people feel like they a) get their moneys worth & b) feel like they are supporting a project that will keep coming back to, to enjoy.
At the end of the day, I mostly try and let my work do the talking for itself. If you think I'm doing a good job and you enjoy the content I produce and want to support, great. But if not, no worries, I hope one day I can change your mind.
The main issue with what you said about "starting to engage with other people here" is I have tried that multiple times in the past. It ends up just going into circular arguments with people bringing up things that happened many years ago, or just straight up lying in order to make some kind of point (like I can currently see happening on the KoS forum, for example and what I perceived to be happening here.)
I check the forums now mostly for bug reporting and to see if there is some kind of census on issues (like I am aware people hate the new memory room for KoS and I will be trying to make changes to make it better for people). But it's probably for the best I don't engage to stop the forum going off the rails and to save my own time. As I say, I respond to the majority of messages on subscribestar and usually on discord too (which by the way, doesn't cost anything to join.) As long as people follow the rules, they are welcome here.

Yep, people (including me) tend to be circling over the same issue over and over again, but there also relatively good guys with equally good questions.
I just honestly hope that even if no one of subs will ask you to return to AU, you will simply to do because you simply want to polish and complete it if you feel like it. No confrontation or pressure, my honest pioneer word!

How is this any way related to cucking? It's an AU - alternative universe. It's a what-if story where the MC doesn't exist.
Patreon got it killed with the incest ban forcing the dev to switch to subscribestar and this last bit is just speculation on my part likely also killing his interest in making the game.
