Any planned pregnancies? For any of your games? Sorry if this has been asked before...Actually thanks to a small fundraiser we did for Witchking a while back we do have a "minor" harem ending planned. This will only feature the main crew though and won't be super extensive. Hopefully we can reach higher levels of support once a few things planned finally make it into the game and we can start looking into branching that out a bit.

Are you here as a man of culture brother? Or are you here to support me and mcmng in an active warzone?![]()
I mean...this is a useless off-topic post sooooo...yeah.Really wish people would just talk about the actual game, this game and not another one, in this thread. Don't like the rate of updates? Unsubscribe from the Patreon. Unsatisfied with the direction of the game? Post about that. You're on a piracy forum berating a dev for not giving you more. Getting real tired of opening the thread only to see contiunous off-topic debate regarding some other game. I unsubscribed to the patreon when Solarion stopped meeting my expectations, too little content for the asking price I might buy it if it ever releases, but I don't spam the thread about it.
I'm not the one with a big one up my ass, bud. If anything, I'm salty we never got a complete game cuz of shit like that, and worse yet, people have nothing better to do than to drudge that up instead of enjoying what we got; the game already has a fuck ton of CG in it, why cry about it?Did their dick taste good, buddy?
You haven't heard of Siren, I guess. Siren's been successfully working on two games since they started Zombie's Retreat simultaneously while working on Town of Passion. Ask him to get a reality check. Ask any dev successfully working on two projects right now with games featured on this very site to get a reality check. Or better yet, go back to downloading and fapping cuz why did you write this entire essay when it boils down to you being wrong about your opinion? There's legitimate proof of the opposite succeeding.Well I dunno what the fuck Urban Demons is but I do know any Dev that works on more than one project at a time needs a reality check.
Focus on one sole game so you're not spreading yourself thin over several projects and constantly having 1 or 2 communities of fans mad about lack of updates, when it could be solved by simply not ever starting a 2nd project in the fucking first place.
I get that some of these Devs get..."bored" constantly working on 1 project but guess what? That's the fucking job. You can take breaks and let your fans know, you can look for outside inspiration without scrapping a project for MONTHS or even YEARS on end. Or worst of all in this Dev's case, the Dev of Summer's Gone/Where it All Began, Dev of Succubus Covenant, or Dev of Being Super (list goes on), you can say fuck all the above and work on 3/2 all at once and completely isolate 1 or 2 fanbases 24/7, wondering when the next update for the game they've been waiting for is.
Imagine if a Larin Studios, who had been producing Baldur's Gate for years, started launching all of their trailers for release teasers that it was right around the corner, with a release date even (Aug 3rd) and then decided, "On second thought, we are growing quite bored ONLY developing this one game, so we are just gonna delay and ignore Baldur's Gate for eh...4 months, while we work on this NEW project no one asked for." That's what these Devs do. I would literally cry if Zetan the Creator of Desert Stalker stopped his grind to go make "Space Wander" halfway through Development just because he was getting tired of the grind, instead of just taking a break like a normal human being and being upfront about it.
Sorry that was a long rant but if a project was truly milked and shut down, it's usually cause of Devs like these that decide one game isn't enough, we'll spread ourselves thin and make a few more ALL at the same time.
Siren has 3 games in development, but he doesnt make the art himself. You haven't heard of Siren, I guess. so? You'd be actually shocked how many devs commission other artists to do the art for them, because not every dev is an illustratorSiren has 3 games in development, but he doesnt make the art himself.
My apologies I didn't realize it would effect you so much, I would've spelled it out more. You haven't heard of Siren, I guess. if anyone's getting affected, it's the man who typed the essay I'm quotingMy apologies I didn't realize it would effect you so much, I would've spelled it out more.
I'm not saying working on more than 1 is impossible, but in most cases it doesn't work out. The only reason it's not a more recognized thing is because most of those Devs give up, and Abandon projects are missed, but almost always are forgotten within a couple months.
Bottom, undebatable line is that 1 SINGULAR project is easier than working on 2 to 3 at once, it's as simple as that. Some people can do it, most can't and end up either slowing down the maximum progress ONE game COULD have.
-I'm still to this day waiting for Where It All Began to update. It IS (apparently) being worked on, but alas, progress is slow, probably due to a split focus.
-I've been waiting for a Summer's Gone Chapter 2 remake, it's been worked on through Chapter 4 all the ways to 5.
-It took like 4 centuries for Being Super to come out because the Dev just had to split himself with 2 different versions of the same fucking game; one black version, one white version.
-I'm still waiting for Succubus Covenant to update. Dev decided making 2 different games was more important.
I could go on, but all of which keep in mind are being worked on, but it's still not an excuse for the progress. And I DOUBT that all of those titles are FASTER because they ARE working on more than one thing at a time.
You also can't be wrong about an opinion dumbass, that's the point of it being an opinion. If you don't like it? Too bad, this is a public forum.
Yep, that's why I brought it up. Good point thoughif anyone's getting affected, it's the man who typed the essay I'm quoting
Meh, why not. I just got a dozen posts deleted on another thread for arguing semantics against zero patience coomers with the reading comprehension of fifth graders. Sometimes I wonder wether some forum dwellers actually are of age... Anyway, time to throw caution to the wind and join this discussion properly:I keep seeing your clown ass here

Very true. RPG maker isn't really meant for visual novels. I mean, it's literally called "RPG Maker"... It's meant for RPGs. (Or, well, really anything that is adjacent to it... And horror games. Lots and lots of horror games.) It would have made sense to move to it during the whole Unity drama that happened a month or two ago, since everyone is deathly afraid of download fees (for good reason), but it's been like this for a long while. Ren'py (or hell, even Tyrano, even though I can't imagine people using that unironically... And plus, I think that's paid. I forgot if that's true.) would have been a better home if you were looking for a cost-effective alternative though.I think the game was doing better when it was still being developed using Unity. This game was born a VN and playing the rpg mode feels off. Changing it to Ren'py would've been a more cost effective approach in my opinion.
True. Any Witchking00 art is a gift considering no one ever leaks their Patreon. Not that I'd care all too much, but all the good art comes from the paywall. That and the art is really good (though I'm biased here because I enjoy witchking00's art style).
10/10. Did laugh. That made me laugh so hard I decided to meme about it:

The problem with Ren'py is, from what I hear several devs complain about, is when you venture out the visual novel or map clicking aspect and go into stuff like combat, the rollback feature ends up really, severely biting it in the ass, to the point where it can build up memory usage and just eventually tank a system. Charon wanted to implement the missions and mini-game stuff to make it feel more like a "game" and less like just a visual novel, but the visual novel mode is there if you just wanna speed through story and get to the sex.Meh, why not. All in all, It is still worth playing as the "If commander Sheppard had a son" porn parody it was apparently intended to be. That and the art is really good (though I'm biased here because I enjoy witchking00's art style).
...
Also, holy shit, man, that back and forth between the dev and the reincarnated Descartes guy was the kind of shit every forum troll could only aspire to participate in

Rollback can be disabled by the dev. And that's exactly my point, now development time must be divided between vn and rpg mode, hence it's less cost-effective.The problem with Ren'py is, from what I hear several devs complain about, is when you venture out the visual novel or map clicking aspect and go into stuff like combat, the rollback feature ends up really, severely biting it in the ass, to the point where it can build up memory usage and just eventually tank a system.
