It's a sandbox but it's not working out well as one so I'm going to do it as a kinetic novel or Dating SIM.

My 3090 decided to die at the beginning of this month and I couldn't afford to replace it. As a consequence I ended up snapping up a cheap 7900 XTX... Those dont render in Daz so I have been experimenting with Blender.


As you can see I have a little bit of work to do but it looks good!

You are correct that it is some work but with a 4090 not even available at any price and a 5090 costing up to $5000, this is the way to go. Even a used 3090 is really expensive IF you can find one. I seem to be able to render in Blender with a very cheap video card (and lots of DDR5 RAM).

Absolutley mate, Nvidia prices are disgusting. I could have stretched to a 5070 but 12gb for the price didnt seem worth it. It renders really quick in Blender and its another skill I can learn. I'll pick it up.
