How to get control and detective endings?
I got control ending as Dom, and following Leyja's route to take over the club and the SUP through to the end.
Detective - I assume - requires taking all the evidence against Hudson while working to gather students for the festival (may also require being Dom, I only ever played as Dom, so I don't know if you get the option to gather evidence against him as a sub).
I restarted Layja's route twice and I'm still stuck at the festival (“wait for news from the festival”).
Does anyone know how to make it work?
Note: I'm playing using “online” link #2.
The Mac hotfix1 patch doesn't load any images.
I'm not stupid enough to start the same route a third time (and wasting even more hours) on the “online” link #1 without even being sure that the same bugs aren't present.
Forgot to add that the festival event worked just fine on the "oblivious" ending.
There seems to be just a lot of weird bugs in general with this game. I have the downloaded one, and constantly had to go in and edit the file to fix broken image paths that had extra periods in them - the path would be something like "club/entrance/.1.jpg" when it should have been "club/entrance/1.jpg", but for a bunch of pictures in entire events - and several paths seemed to just stop seemingly in the middle with no real conclusion (like my previous comment about Ava and Kaley on the Dom path, just randomly no longer having any sort of events after they bring you over to ask you to "start an onlyfans with them", and then you essentially never see them again until the ending, other than brief appearances in other characters' events, unlike every other character who gets repeatable "end of content" events).
I even had the issue that some people were experiencing when the attempted kidnappers came to try and take Emily, where it seemed like I got stuck on a screen that wouldn't go any further, and had to go edit the file to get rid of a certain effect that was making the text the same color as the background for some reason.
I get that this style of game is absolutely bound to be a mess of spaghetti code, especially when there are so many different paths and routes involved, but given how long it can take to do things, and the fact that you can't easily debug it with variables like you can with most Twine/Sugarcube HTML games out there, it can absolutely be a huge pain to figure out what's going wrong. And obviously now that the game is complete, I don't think the dev has any intentions of going back to fix any of these leftover bugs.
