how much time of gameplay is there in every path?
Going by a three arc story structure, there's about an arc and a half. The first arc is focused on the protagonist's development, either as a princess, warrior, or sorceress. The second arc pivots into world lore and implies a larger story with bigger consequences. There are various branch paths that look at similar world details from different perspectives or takes alternate routes to and through the second act.

Depending on how fast you read it's at least a few hours worth of content. More if you explore other routes.

question about the new update:

i explored a few choices but ultimately i could only settle for a Council, instead of a single leader for the union.

also the voting system in that whole council segment didn't make much sense for me.

kinda confusing IMO.

I think it's bugged. It doesn't appear to have a vote at all and just defaults to

Overall some of the council stuff seems odd. The vote counts do not seem to align with what positions the characters argue in favor of.

There's a lot I like about this game and even more I don't care about at all. Hard to get excited for updates or find a justifiable reason to support the game like this.

Seems to me like they're biting more than they can chew by trying to please so many different groups instead of having a well defined audience and content focus.

maybe the issue is that they are trying to please everyone at the same time. it would be great if they finished one storyline completely, and THAN try to create others. if you only care about one storyline (is the case for many people), realistically you're getting 2-3 updates a year.
i also think there's too many branches, some a little nonsensical,

my personal preference would be finishing the princess storyline, and creating a warrior and mage storylines as "what ifs". but thats just me.

Also if you're married to Vargas. The threat of being poked with swords is too much for him (though the vote counting is basically broken. It counts everyone agreeing with you as 3 votes, not 4. It seems the unspoken rule is that the votes need to be unanimous to change anything. And it's pretty easy to game some of the votes by choosing to support the opposite.)

Updated my compressed Android port of The Survival of Sarah Rose to v0.5.9.9.

Got some basic gestures loaded in: swipe up for save menu, swipe down to hide UI, swipe left to rollback and swipe right to skip. Save files are now stored in the Documents folder. This sometimes means that you may need to close and re-open the port after installing so the save folder is properly created.

Please let me know if you encounter any issues with the ports and I'll see what I can do to get them sorted.

Yeah this really makes no sense to me from a narrative perspective. Only having 2 votes should be enough if you are voting for the status quo to be upheld but for some reason if you choose to support that stance you suddenly need an overwhelming majority even though the proposal for change was unpopular to begin with.

I guess a fundamental problem from a gameplay standpoint with only having 4 people on the council is that the player should theoretically be able to force most outcomes since one vote matters so much.

I didn't whore herself out. She slapped him and stormed off. Only forgiving the debt of his country that's it.

not concerned about the different storylines since I love them all. I understand though some people are frustrated that their preferred storylines aren't getting updated enough, but I think the creators of this are pretty good an I enjoy all of their work.
