This is the best update this game has seen in a while. All the political he said, she said shit was weak. It works for others I'm sure but War and battle has been at the core of this story and that's how it should be!!

My favourite is the princess because not only can you save Rosanna, but you can also give the so-called "sons of war" such a trashing that they don't come to bother you again. However, it also features numerous political intrigues and kingdom-building endeavours.
The warrior path is a down-to-earth one, where Sarah learn to become a warrior and a leader of men, the retaking of Rosannah is also very satisfying.
The mage path, in comparison, has more in-depth lore, but Sarah completely abandoned her princess past and Rosanna, which is understandable but sad for me.

Played this for the first time in a long time, and there are 3 different clashing art styles. Each one on its own would've been better than switching between the three, hard to get a mental image of the characters when they change so much. Or even just of the mood of the game.
And despite all the resources spent on 2 visual reworks, the game lacks in scenes and art in its second half. Reworking the dense start, instead of advancing/finishing the project, a trap many devs fall into.
Despite this very major flaw, the game is very good.

This is a very valid point to criticize, although the only melody that plays throughout the game is one that I really like, having it playing all the time detracts a lot from the drama of the scenes.

To be honest the first thing I do when opening a VN is turn up the text speed and disable all audio.

Yeah for 90% of AVNs I just throw a playlist on my phone/PC or something.

Just dawned on me that there's no whore route. Seems like an odd oversight considering how many of the paths leave her broke, alone, displaced, and homeless.

I would say that if you do lose the kingdom path you kinda become a whore, another would be if you chose the demon path

It would be an interesting route to explore, but it's a bit difficult with all the existing routes, there are also several moments where Sarah has to trade sex for favors so all the routes have a bit of a whore in them.

Yes-yes, there is the slave route-thing and the tailor apprentice route-thing, perhaps even the sailor route-thing if race-thing ignore-ignore the happy ending-thing it gets somehow... But yes-yes, none of them are a 'street whore' storyline-thing per se!

Last update was less than a month ago so it might be a bit. Though, they update quicker than most devs. How long the update takes normally depends on which route they will update next due to the amount of content.
