I really don't know how to help other than telling you to read the guide again, carefully. I've redone the game multiple times on the two most recent versions while writing the guide to make sure it works and the result was the same every single time. Make sure that on day 6 you give the drink and the sweets to the Octo girl and not the Receptionist and don't forget to use the perfume. Other than that good luck I guess?
