No, it's not the engine. Plenty of Unity games run just fine.
This one's just really badly done. Hopefully KST doesn't repeat the same implementation in the next project...

Name a single unity game that runs without issues inherent to the engine, and complete lack of proper exclusive fullscreen. I've tried i'd estimate two dozen unity games, all suffer. Just a matter of degrees.
This does run badly tho, but i've seen UE porn games that run badly too. And that engine is just optimized the hell out of, so it's a challenge to make it run badly given the tiny scope of a porn game.

It's been fixed in 0.40
And that it happens on Thursdays, if you don't get the scene, leave to the living room and re-enter and repeat until the scene triggers.

Strawman doesn't apply when i say it's the entire engine and all games.Nice strawman, but try again. Name one game made with any engine that doesn't have issues inherent to that engine at some point.
Least noticable ones are top-view or some platform games, but anytime you move the camera in a unity 3D game you can clearly see how the engine is bad, unless you're just used to 30 FPS console games, stutter and micro stutter, hitching, jittering, rendering issues, fps drops and bad AA.
Worst are games like Subnautica, theHunter or Firewatch.

I didn't create the walkthrough, so not much I can do about it.Anon4321 i think it is very good that you help the other people here in the forum.
But why is the walkthrough confusing?
The best I was able to do, is create a version pointing out the BTR moments you can skip.
but to be honest I don't find it confusing, as long as you take it step-by-step. that's how it's setup.
I've been using it since the walkthrough was started, all my saves, were done following the walkthrough to the letter.
It's not meant to be used as a reference, skip steps and you WILL get lost.
