Ren'Py - The Tyrant [v0.9.5a] [Saddoggames]

This game is 'OK' it has potential, but I am afraid its going to be abandoned. Its pretty bare bones right now and navigating the game isn't very fun. Its not a smooth VN game but, those where you have to move around the map. Its strongest point is the theme of the story and what it promises it could become and being able to be an asshole. I am tired of all these fucking games where you are a pussy gentleman and can only get with one girl. These are porn game, where the main focus is the sex and not the story, all the stories are pretext for the sex and they are never good.

Renders 3/5: They are nice, some of the backgrounds and models feel not very polished. The girls look pretty good tho, expect the old lady.
Story 3/5: The best thing about this game is a story that promises sex and its not some bullshit romance crap. The game doesn't take itself too seriously either, which I think its good. NTR sex, no bullshit. Can be a bad guy and be a in a gang and do dark dirty shit. SOLD. Sadly there isn't much story development as of yet, only a few scenes.
Girls 3/5: I do like the girls, you have a wide cast and they are fairly interesting and good looking. I tried to play with the MOD that 1k people says it has better writing and fleshes out more the girls, but it crashed my game. Standard game is fine tho.
Sex 3/5: NTR options. There is more sex than story literally. Lots of potential, more than most games out there. Most sex interaction are mild, there are sex scenes tho, some feel a bit short and the girls aren't very responsive. There are also some animations, but rather crude. This needs some work, but I guess you could even out with quantity over quality.

Overall a game which is very bare bones, but has a lot of promise. If you like NTR, keep an eye on it.

I give this game a four star rating for a couple of reasons regardless of my own personal dislike of NTR in general the game itself does it well giving the player multiple choices you love ntr play with hard ntr on your almost gurrenteed to see it. You don't mind ntr but don't paticularly want to see it play with ntr on but keep the stats high and you will never have to see it. Don't like ntr at all then play vanilla though the game might not make much sense. Now the renders and models are great my own favortie is the little sister gasp i know a shocker right most seem to love the mom and that's fine they are all hot im just a sucker for the innocent ones. The plot is solid though the characters could use some more development. I would reccomend giving the game a try it is one of the better games out there in my opionion and Alexis im coming for that v card and if the gang gets in my way well that's what shovels are for to get rid of unwanted obstacles

I'm rating it low because I realize this game contains a substantial amount of NTR, something I'm not interested in. So I'm rating it according to how much I enjoyed it.

The NTR isn't forced, however, the game offers very little else at the moment. There is practically no content to experience right now, and what little there is, requires hours of spammy clicking to grind out points with the characters in order to experience it without cheating.

The game was posted here In October of 2017. One year later, and it's only on version 0.5 with extremely little new content. I don't recommend you contribute to the author's patreon.

(Update 5.5) This update was terrible and made the game worse. The character actions were not at all believable, and the dialogue was extremely robotic. The scenes did not make sense, considering the content leading to them.

I dislike this game now. I don't think it's worth checking again in the future. A damn shame to see an initially promising game dying like this.

LOVE NTR/HATE NTR.
Some people keep whining like a baby about NTR stuff and give bad review. saddog try to balance this game with that stuff. as you know if you keep complaining about NTR on the game prefer you dont play it.

This game is very nice with a very interesting story. models that are very precise and captivating. especially for the character of nicole (she referred queen of this Game). the player has the right to choose a different path and determine their destiny. sacrifice, love, corruption is all here. the scene enough to awaken lust players lol. (I wish it would be more in the future). no doubt this game is my favorite .
It is unfortunate there are scenes that had to be discarded because of certain regulations. but thanks to modder can restore the lost thing.
the process of developing quite a long and there may be some bugs (I can understand because it is not easy to make a game). I hope saddog can complete this game. with an interesting and long story.and need to add scene for threesome and gangbang^^

This is one of the best games. a great story that develops at the right speed. Excellent graphics. Maybe add a little video. I put 5 points, because I look forward to the continuation of this game. Fantasy draws a lot of variations of the scenario.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this game. corruption & going along with it for "cover" hyuk! Sooo good.I would strongly encourage the dev to make LOTS more mom stuff and help us with cheat mode a bit more. Buying different outfits for her (going to the beach) making her expose herself. Thats super hot. I can see many great things coming to this game. The ONLY MINOR drawback of this game is when you run into "repeat" events. I realize they are needed, just my heart sank when I hit my first one so early on. I would be nice if many dates, many dinner, many gym scenarios existed.

this game is one of the best! it bothers me that it gets bad reviews just because some people don't like NTR. If you don't like NTR, don't play this game.

Unfortunately, like so many other similar games, Saddog still needs to (much!) develop the script to make sense of his story. Although the NTR content makes sense, it is better developed compared to the non-NTR option, leaving only one path available for sex scenes. Until update 0.4.5, the story leaves much to be desired than was promised in the introduction of the game with the exception of renderings. As one member said in a comment: "The tyrant is a good game to play only next year."

I don't like NTR games. in the game even though it has canceled NTR, but the NTR scene still exists and it repeats, besides this game actually has a short story. besides that click loop is a boring game. Other games like lancaster or ourfate are smaller in size but have a much much much better story

This novel, visually is incredible, especially the character of the mother. I also like the story and the context a lot. The weak point of this game, in my opinion, is the gameplay, perhaps as a classic visual novel would be better. I do not like games to become so repetitive, even so great game.

Very interesting characters, actions and nice graphics. Although still in Beta, it has the potential to become one of the best Adult / NTR games ever. The developer has continuous updates and spoilers. I really like this game and play it regularly.

Despite liking the ntr kink, I stopped supporting him for good with 0.3.6 and the Cassandra date: a prime example that this guy has no freaking idea how to write a scene that makes some sense. The scene there was literally the dumbest out of context useless scene I could have though of, placed there just for the sake of it.
Not to mention the gameplay sucks: see the way to access dates or the boring repetition.
Definitely more worthwhile creators out there, I wish I could get back my money.

Quite the amount of freedom in the game. YES it has NTR, but YOU have the option (and ALOT of choices AND warnings in the game) to have it on or off. But that isn't the main draw.

The draw of the game is freedom of choice, and by that i mean more so as you can play the 'routes' however you like, with picking any girl, sharing, corrupting, losing, etc. Case in point, if i so desired, (once everything is done obviously) I could take the younger sister for the Love route, make her waifu, make older sister, a tool and make money and the mother just let her be taken away.

The option's are quite nice, as it allows ALOT of replay value, which any good game should have, ALOT of content for a magnitude of people, and that's something rare.

Most games tend to do a generic path, of the 'usual' result based on choices, and usually always leads to 1-2 endings, this seems it's gonna have quite a few more. (Coding nightmare my sympathy for your sanity)

The art style is nice, The character's look cute, (besides the bad guys, but no one cares what they look like, face it, we're here for the TaTas.) And the males don't look horrible from a dude standpoint, although, a porn stache, is pretty neat won't lie. The modling looks pretty spot on to say the least, there's SOME clipping but hey nothing is perfect.

NOW for the bad end of this. The dialog and plot, The dialog isn't so bad, it actually is half decent to say the least, and get's the point across, BUTTTT basically it already made a couple characters 'route' like already. Lil sis is an air head, hella innocent and know's nothing. Older sister is actually written not horribly, in fact, sorta like her. Mother? supposed to be doing whats needed to protect the family, only to be the easiest one to turn and drop the panties with the quickness, sorta...bipolar honestly, quite saddening. Not enough of the other ladies to comment on. Oh and everyone's gonna hate Davide, Eric 2.0 anyone? Least you will have the option later of doing him in yourself this time, LORD KNOW'S WE ALL WANTED TOO WHEN WE COULD BACK IN BB AY BOIS?

ANDDD to the bit i dread. The plot. It's so standard with such a gem, it's like, having this most amazing diamond ring for the bae, only to have the band on it be copper. BUT BUT BUT BUT the game is in baby stages and all subject to change.

Over all, yes i give this a 5/5, the freedom of choice, and ways to play are gonna be awesome, gonna be MANY AND I MEANNN MANY hours of gameplay and content when all is said and done. (comin' for that ass Alexis, I HAVE A SHOVEL WITH YOUR NAME ON IT ERIC2.0 Err i mean, DAVIDE)

Thing's to obviously improve on, like any game still building and growing, it's worth the wait, and i believe people won't be disappointed outside of the NTR stuff, but it's a game, it isn't the real deal, it's content for the player to go through, or disable it and don't! pretty simple!! One of the few games that doesn't leave the player with blue balls, even though it's still in early development, the renders are very nice, expect however, lot's of unfinished scenes and missing content for now.

I have been playing this game since its inception and although yes it does have its faults and is slowly evolving the concept although implausible (hey it is a game after all) are the best of the current crop of incest games out their.
The negatives first :- the character development system is all over the place and yes maybe this is because it is still in development but the only way to fully explore all options is to keep reseting your stats to the required levels .
The +++ side :- the game although only based on 1 day has so many options available and always leads you to wanting more, from .. what is in the basement?, when can you get to the upper level of the club?, how does your sister make her money etc....
As for where are you going as a character in the game... Do you wanna run the gang, enslave your family, save your family, kill everyone or merely watch it all from the sidelines?
The trick Saddog has latched onto so successfully is that he keeps leaving you wanting more, a bread trail of secrets, as each one is uncovered the next one appears to be even tastier.
The Images are great, only the big sister is not that interesting visually, in my view anyways.
Overall this is a great game with a long history planned for it if Saddog is to be believed and by far my favorite since it first came out.

I'll start off by admitting that I'm biased for this game and I also think this could be the best game here. So the premise is ridiculous (albeit original) which is acceptable for an incest game. The renders are probably the best in the business, characters seem to be more complex here than most of the other games *(SPOILERS*Take mom for instance, she wants to protect the "innocence" of her children but doesn't mind being a slut herself as long as none of her children know about it. I could see her being uncomfortable with all this at first but then thinking "well I'm fucked anyway, might as well enjoy it.) As for the NTR part of this game, the creator seems to be creating a good balance of both NTR and non-NTR scenes and NTR scenes are going to be avoidable which is good because I think most of the fanbase (including myself) don't really have NTR fetish.
All in all, this game is off to a promising start and if everything goes well, this could be one of the best (or at least one of the most popular) games on this site. Although there will always be a small group of people considering the plot to be too ridiculous which it undeniably is. I'd advise such people to not take this game or anything on this site too seriously, it's all fantasy.

Saddoggames came through with another classic, this game has incredible potential. The story is indeed underwhelming. But girls in this game makes up for it, especially Nicole !
Usually the games with this genre uses RPGM for the gameplay. But this one uses Ren'Py so you can skip all the bullshit 'walking through the town' to progress the game.
