slave's sword Basic typical rpgmaker game, decent story maybe too simple
slave's sword 2 Still not played, sequel to the previous one
Imperial knights Sequel to the previous 2 titles, this is a masterpiece with 3 playable routes, found some little bug in route A ending, maybe they should have worked more on balancing but i still have not completed all of it.

erodungeons This probably is not present for a reason, but i propose this title as it has many features of the other games in the list: turn based combat, in fight-strip and different types of in-fight-restrictions. An extremely well balanced game, not simple and not impossible.

do any of them have a large amount of monster content? or is it mostly bandits/human ect

I have played 60% of the third game ("imperial knights"), it has many monsters, it changes a lot depending on which route you take(ask 2000 money from the guild mercenary at start, you will have more monsters). I have played less than 10% of first and second slave's sword so i don't know.

Trying to remember fast, i may omit something relevant but:
The kings of the monster games (already in the list) are probably Taima Miko Yuugi , Revived Demon Priestess or Jumble Strikers but there are many worth and depends al lot on tastes which one to suggest.

Magical girl Celesphonia is one of my favorite games.
Its no side scroller but is about a magical Girl, with lots of corruption and battle fuck.

Have you found anything similar to Celesphonia?
I had the misfortune of playing MGC as my first battlefuck game and couldn't find anything that came remotely close to it afterwards, in terms of overall polish.

From the reviews I've seen, kinda looks like the dev team behind Celesphonia might be contending for the best ones out there, right?
Even if they have hit or miss ideas.

ive just finished playing through your game and I really enjoyed whats there so far, can see a lot of promise and I appreciate the effort of making a 3D protag instead of the usual AI imagery we see now.
Not sure how easy it is to program in, but aside from costumes I wonder if its possible to get a character customisation system down the line, like boob sizes or what not, both to let players make a waifu but also, if it works, add in things like mystery potions and body transformation stuff lol

This game has some good artwork but you still don't need to go on that anti-ai artist tangent. The last thing we need is to start bringing politics here.

Third Crisis is one of my favourites. It is not sandbox, although certain stages of the game seem to have more 'roaming' style play in them. Some stages are definitely more fun than others but the story rolls on. The art, the corruption mechanic and the story are a pretty good combo. I do recommend it.
