If you weren't aware the reason with the long wait was I had personal issues with a family member passing and then the whole process just kinda spiraled out of touch, then i regained momentum in june/july to finish it which I DID!

The one from 2019 was an alpha build which became the 2021 version, i then moved houses, my pc was dropped, my files for the game were lost, which now became the remake.
Kind of an abusive relationship with myself honestly. But it's become a much better project than my previous attempts!

Time of day system, set time events, and character quests? Sounds like this needs the sandbox tag now?
That'd be a shame as it'd become an instant drop for me if so, and I enjoyed the original quite a bit, havent touched the remake yet though.

here is my unofficial Android port of The Wanking Dead v0.05.
Main App:
download both files, install and run the app, the rest happens automatically.
however, you still can copy the assets pack manually to the folder
from now on my Android ports of Ren'Py games have a 2nd, persistent save location like Windows. if you uninstall the app, the save files and persistent data remain intact.
therefore it needs the permission to access the public external storage (or a new one on Android 11+), because it has to read and write outside its own external storage directories.
you have to grant the permission or the app is shut down.
