The size and text negatively affect the ease of reading. I don't understand at all why many developers in games for adults use childish techniques, such as colored text and various decorations that interfere with the perception of information.

That was certainly quite the prologue, that's for sure. So much to take in, some deaths I didn't expect to happen, or at least 1 anyways. Very fancy with the graphics, I will give you props on that too, very nice indeed. This is one that I am extremely glad the Universal Mods worked with, as it was what lead me to putting it on my Games to Play List, and quite enjoyed this start. Thank you so very much for this, and totally looking forward for more!!!

I'd say at least a bit of xianxia since there is not only qi but also some myth beasts.
Looks like a chosen style rather than a compression issue.

No need to answer the question, played a bit further into it and it is the case that you can take concubines in addition to an Empress.

and is the content forced or can it be avoided? By this I mean some fetishes or tags that are sometimes presented in the game that are not to everyone's liking such as lesbians, ntr, femdom, etc.

I suppose you could say that? It is interesting (playing ACS lately).
Though if you look at anything past "chinese theme + qi cultivation" these are nothing alike.
transmigrated man <> native prince, free roamer <> nation ruler, mostly xianxia <> mostly wuxia, the visual style is different too.

By nature of the setting it's based on, a harem ending of some sort is by default, as monogamy, especially for you as the soon-to-be emperor is neither expected nor beneficial. You're probably going to have concubines regardless on whether or not you see or interact with them. However, as for a true harem ending narratively, where you actively form relationships with actual characters you interact with in the game, yes it will be included (and optional).
Regarding forced content: In general, my goal is to keep essentially all sexual encounters optional, except for a very select few that are built into the story.

Wow, this is an interesting one. Ancient China Wuxia webnovel. Particularly like the dialogue & response options. More politically oriented responses rather than standard porn game or harem dialogue options.
Will the empress, concubines & heirs also be involved in the political intrigue and powerplay, scheming against each other? Since their family & factions are already fighting in the political arena.
