As I understand it, this is the past (prequel) of Between Salvation and Abyss. He mentions in dev notes that the look of the mc was his original idea so some things may change from what we already know, in my opinion it's worth giving it a try, both of his games seem pretty good to me and I doubt this one will be bad.
