Another good game being abandoned. What a shame! Why is this keep happening to so many good games? This is not the first or the last.

It's because a lot of devs have the talent to make these games but are making them as their side hustle. They weren't committed to finishing them in the first place and kind of just play along to see where their project takes them.Another good game being abandoned. What a shame! But that being said I feel like it's fair if the amount of time and energy they put into making a game show with the little donation they get. And if they aren't completing their games, people won't support or pledge. It's a catch 22 situation lol
Game doesn't seem to be abandoned, finally had an update on his Patreon, but who knows where that will lead.

Hello,
I hope everyone is having a great holiday season and has had a great year overall. My year was busier than expected, so unfortunately the time and energy I could put into developing was limited. As well as some scenes are giving me more trouble than I anticipated. In hindsight, I absolutely should have broken this update in half, as it is larger than my previous ones. You may have noticed that about a week ago, I paused payments. I am going to keep it paused until the update is out. I feel terrible that I haven’t been able to deliver it yet, so pausing the payments eases my conscience a bit. I have quite a few days off over the next couple weeks so I’m hoping to bring this update to a close soon.
Have a great New Year's and rest assured, there will be more updates.

So if I understand this correctly, this is basically just half of Part 1, aka 'preview' ?
