I decided to put up another vote on the channel, this time about making The Zeta Sector longer. I find my way of making updates very deficient in a way, as I continuously clock 15-18 hours a week, but the content I manage to put out is usually at the range of 2-3 minutes. My initial idea was to open up the planet hubs more, but now I also think about there could be some survival elements thrown in, so you would have to buy food, fuel and repair the ship, etc. The slave paths too could be attached to these hubs so you would have a repeated cycle where you either escape or remain a slave, and of course when you escape. Now I don't want to make the game too grindy. But this way I could ramp up the time it takes to get through the game, so you wouldn't just get 2-3 minutes every time there is an update.

One thing you might consider is the whole-playthrough experience.

For example, the greatest part of Lost in Laminate is the hotel scene (Because it's just extremely polished) and the start of the city exploration.
In the "late-game" it gets a bit unfocused and tedious because the number of necessary actions to reach a desired path becomes extremely large.

Make sure to sometimes do a playthrough from the very beginning by yourself.
See what stays interesting, even with repetition.
See what starts annoying you after a time. These will be the same things players will struggle with when trying different paths.

I have to say I usually prefer a main story with up to 3 paths and up to 3 chapters.
Anything beyond that is more fun in a new game with a new main character.
It can be in the same world.

The big problem for me in a way is how to hold subscribers I have a $1 tier that is pretty stable, anything above people just come and go. And yes, money is evil and it corrupts people, but I like developing games a lot, but most of the time development starts at 8pm due to my 9 to 5 job and the fact that I have to stay alive in the real world. So it would be nice if I could allocate more time for it.

As to answer to your comment directly, I think what I will do is to have the planets at an arm's reach, so you could get to Alescia or Helcion IV just after a few minutes. But there would be survival elements and a bit of grindiness once you get there so the game would have some length. And yeah, many test playthrough will be needed to make sure people don't lose interest

The next update I will add Jennifer as a romancable character and explain how she got here from Stellar Justice. I will also extend the Zheng He and the Amanda slave paths because I feel like they were a bit rushed when they came out of the oven.

Important: Between November 17 and December 17 the channel will be in an offline period. I'm doing this because I want to get started with the harem game, and I think if I give it a month I could get a pretty decent 0.0.1 version by then (now December 17 is a Tuesday, but I want the hiatus to last a whole month so nobody would get billed without their knowledge).

Once the first version of the harem game is out, the workoutput will be shared 75% - 25% in The Zeta Sector's favor. Later on this will be 50%, but I'm not a 100% on when this is going to happen. The game will feature an extensive sub path as well, where you can play through the game as a slave after a member of the harem escapes and takes over the operation.

Thanks! I want to have a noble slaver route where you look through the slave's personal data and make their desires a reality thus earning their affection, or you could be the ruthless slaver who breaks everyone in and punishes everything. There will also be enslavement events when one of the slave's takes over and wants the Mc to buy a house for her and be his/her pet.
