I started having this problem recently, although I get black silhouettes instead of invisible characters. I have gotten dgVoodoo to work for some Ishigaki games, but with this one, it always crashes right after the initial loading screen. Did you have to change any settings to launch it?I know this is a bit of a necro post but if you are having issues with invisible characters, dgVoodoo worked for me (on this game, it apparently also helps with the other Ishigaki games too)
I only changed my RAM amount up to 1GB, turned off the watermark. I had no problems with crashes but my problem was invisible characters and not silhouettes so not entirely sure what could help you out.I started having this problem recently, although I get black silhouettes instead of invisible characters. Changing the RAM fixed it for me, thanks so much!I only changed my RAM amount up to 1GB, turned off the watermark.
did that get rid of your silhouettes? I'm not the best with computer stuff, so is changing the ram in settings or in the game itself?Changing the RAM fixed it for me, thanks so much!
I followed Jeff's suggestion of using an external program called dgVoodoo2. I found an installation guide here:did that get rid of your silhouettes? I'm not the best with computer stuff, so is changing the ram in settings or in the game itself?
Thank you so much, I got it working againI followed Jeff's suggestion of using an external program called dgVoodoo2. I found an installation guide here:You must be registered to see the links
I think what you need for this is DirectX9, 32-bit. Once you've done all that, open dgVoodooCpl.exe, go to the DirectX tab, and change the VRAM dropdown to 1024 MB.
This fixed it for me too. Thanks a bunch!I followed Jeff's suggestion of using an external program called dgVoodoo2. I found an installation guide here:You must be registered to see the links
