I feel like it's only specific artists that do that (a lot of that), and they're typically the NTR people. In general, you'll see way more light skin guys than anything else. It's when you land upon those artists that do NTR here and there that it's just consistently a darker guy or some gyaru.

Funny how this argument never comes up when an artist "overuses" faceless white male characters. But comes up all the time up whenever an artist uses faceless dark skinned males. Coincidence?
funny enough, in the japanese nsfw scene darker skinned/tanned males were mainly used to make the white skin of the female characters stand out more. Was kinda eye-opening when you, lets say, found a fate grand order doujin and the male MCs skin was darker than what it actually is since fujimaru is an established character. Made me appreciate how much focus was put on the female characters.
