There's not inherently nothing wrong with the "cumdump without needs or self-regard" route. That is a tried and true classic trope. And many are a fan of the "put in her place" archetype.
But with the tagline of: "Whether she gives in to the bliss of submission or uses her sexual appeal to her advantage on the battlefield is all up to you!" and the fact you can't really... do the second part is where it gets me.
It kinda feels like it was planned to have that at the start. Especially as one of the original tags is "femdom".
So... not sure if it has been bait and switched. Or if they've just been very, very oblivious to how the game is advertised. OR if it was done on purpose as a plot twist. But if that was the case... why plot twist it? That's kinda advertising to the wrong audience. Like... why plaster "you're a badass lesbian superhero, out to save your girlfriend!" all over the brand, if you're not allowed to do just that? xP
Anyhow, I'm trailing off a bit. It might be added, it might not.
But it's still strange to either leave for last. Or to just, incorrectly promote it.
As, like said: It's a really solid game. It does the main route really well. So... why have people think they're gonna be playing a different genre/theme?

Something tells me you haven't made it very far in the main story.
You must have gotten the wrong impression, this is never alluded to nor explored in what I'm assuming is the Fiend hub section. There's only one futa shown in the fiend tribe and she was not made to be like that, but she just happens to be one. There is nothing more to it than that.
Also, you can play this game without doing any sex. This is called the pure route. You do the main story, but decline any sexual advances made to you and don't fail any skill checks like fights and such. It's meant for people who just want to play the game and enjoy the story. The gameplay is harder here because it assumes that you're not interested in the porn for now. It also tests your will much like the scenarios test Jenna's because giving in to sex in these cases is way easier gameplay-wise than doing things the hard way.
You can also pick and choose which sex scenes you want to go after in the main route, meaning you can do a full lesbian run if you choose. This is not possible in the slut route. Yes, there could be more lesbian scenes in the main story and there are more on the way.
This game was never meant to be a lesbian-only affair. It has all types of content, but the balance usually tips in the favor of straight-oriented content because that is just what we personally prefer.
I'm also not sure where you're getting the impression that the storefront heavily advertises girl-on-girl. Looking at the Steam page's screenshots, I see two purely lesbian CGs, and two with dicks. Not to mention these CGs weren't even picked with any thought other than they were the spiciest I could think of at the time. Also, we only recently started fully animating CGs, which is why a lot of the lesbian scenes are not like that. All of the animated ones you see in the early game are replacements from the older art style to the new one and since we were replacing them we decided to animate them as well. We're hoping to eventually go back and animate all of the CGs, but that may or may not happen.
You can do exactly that if you decline all advances made to you and don't get distracted with the slut route. The main driving force for Jenna in the main story was and still is rescuing Karen.
Hey, how do you access the bar gloryhole minigame? I tried entering the toilets drunk, but all I got was the old gloryhole CG.

You have to keep advancing the 'serving tables' part all the way. Eventually they activate the new gloryhole. If you didn't like the blowjob minigame (which i didn't), you probably won't like the gloryhole minigame, since it's a slower version of the same thing.
I'd wager its Leith (the villainess from the opening stage). Knows who Jenna is, wants to use/humiliate her, name tag has her character colour and is deemed "special someone" by the gang's boss.

It's a TL;DR of all development ever
Hey, right now im at the point where u need to decide whether u want to keep fighting for Karen or give up on her. I wanted to ask if this a important decision with different outcomes/scenes. When i pick to give her up i dont seem to get a new quest.
If you don't agree to help you'll be locked into the paths in town (Peitho, whore and bar waitress).
Enjoy the game for what it is. The creator and patrons decide what gets incorporated into the game, no game can please everyone so let them have their creative freedom. Plus current characters: Jewel, Karen, Floria, Ava, some of the tribe women, members of the Lumber Rats and Pyra have lesbian/bisexual scenes (probably more scenes following updates), as well as possible future characters being lesbians.
So! I was wondering if someone could let me know what triggers the normal/whore/pietho route switches? I played through the game once, but i didnt notice any obvious flags? Maybe i missed the events that cause this? I dont need like... a full guide or anything, just what and where? Like X in the basement or Y in the shower, etc.
After the second boss fight on Sublevel 2 and going to the prison cell in the camp you'll be tasked with going to the town's bar. That's when the choice will begin. Also going to the Townhall after Jenna's adverts are placed all over town and doing it one more time will lock into the Peitho path.
