I accidentally picked the option to stay in the city after defeating the plant enemies. How do I get back to the story?

You can't to my knowledge.
That's a deadlock for a "route". You'd have to re-do.

Would be nice with a "warning: you are about to enter path X"
But, it is mostly just heavily hinted at. Which also works.
As the hints are pretty big that "hey: you're about to throw your life away, hint, hint." xD

2 pin-ups can be found in the town. One near the top left of town and the other next to the abandoned house, found right of the town.

On the plus side, the game makes a ton of autosaves and you can manually save in as many separate saves as you want.

Go left of town hall, down that lane, then when you hit a sign go right. That should take you to the Lumber Rats slums.

During the bar waitress quests I can only choose the purple perversion dialouges. When I click on the other options nothing happens. Is this how these quests are meant to work or am I locked into the purple option because my perversion is too high (400ish)?

is there a way to not run in fullscreen mode and at a lower resolution? i can turn fullscreen off, but i only see 1920x1080 in the options

theres probably an easier way to not run in fullscreen but i know adding -window at the end of the file path in properties of file(right click),it makes it run windowed mode. normally that is used when running games in window mode is unavailable
