I don't see why not. Other threads have had everything from literary analysis to fanfic storyboards to break up the monotony. Releases can be slow, and it might be fun to talk about more than Where X or How Y. How many people will have both hands free is another matter, but why not give it a go... (something to consider when it comes to the length and complexity of posts)
True, I'll start the ball rolling, and hopefully more people follow suit. Like that famous saying: "Be the change you wish to see..."
Now, the main path seems to be leading to an all-or-nothing confrontation with Peitho in the tower with Leath, Pyra, and Wildfire inside. So, there is a strong indication that this will be the point of no return, but of course this is very likely still at least a year or two of updates away. We can't forget that the resistance still plans to recruit an army from the different factions that are fittingly represented by Jenna's party: Carceburg citizens (Jewel), Carceburg guards (Throb), forest fiends (Rida), and Florians (Floria). So far, Jewel's mission ends with the recruitment of the citizens and the lumber rats, and we know that the next mission will involve at least Rida and the forest fiends. If we go by this mission structure, we would likely also have a Throb mission and a Floria mission next.
What I think might happen is that after a successful altercation with Peitho and gaining the trust of the forest fiend tribe back for Rida in her mission, the following two recruitment missions will be more focused on internal conflicts rather than Peitho. One thing I noticed with the factions is that there are two pairs that are at odds with each other. The people in Carceburg don't really get along with the guards, and (I think) it was the guards who were trying to disrupt Jewel's bar scene. We've also witnessed the conflict between the forest fiends and the touched (ie. florians) earlier in the game. It's true that they all have common interests for preventing the completion of the tower, but it will need a lot of convincing from Jenna and their respective representative.
This may be a good time to incorporate the affection stat into the game, since they haven't seen much use at all. From what I know, Throb and Jewel's affection can be increased. But I don't know about Rida and Floria, because I have avoided the lewd scenes with them during my pure run so far. In any case, there could be conditions that would need to be satisfied to recruit all four factions and get the best result in the ensuing assault on the Peitho tower. Whether the best result is a successful dismantling of Peitho is a whole other matter, and I have a feeling that the game's ending will be bittersweet.
For the players who have fully progressed through the main story, what do you guys think could happen with the next several updates? Hopefully, with Rosas are Red nearing completion, this would allow Vils more time to work on the main story content.
