installed a mod for the second season. but I don't have any hints in the game. does not show which choice is better at all. I also have no choice who I want to meet, Audrey or Ryona.

Just wanted to comment on this as a Steam Deck (Linux) user.
I had the very same "crash to desktop" type of problem when the game loads up, prior to reaching the main menu.
This attachment worked for me for S2 - big thanks for all the work on here and even helping with fixes.

Season 2 doesn't have the option... is there any way to do this through the game folder?

Season 2 is built on a very old mod Core (v5b) that doesn't have near the muscle or feature sets of the latest v7b (latest public version). So no, it doesn't have the option turn turn it off but you can simply press Enter/Return (with a blank Description input box) and from that point forward you simply have one additional button press other than clicking a slot to make a new save. That's as close as it comes to bypassing the save description in pre-v7 mod Core foundational code.
Hi Sancho1969 is it possible to play Season 4 - Episode 28.5 after Season 4 - Episode 28 SE ? I have finished Season 4 - Episode 28 SE with your mod and when I start Season 4 - Episode 28.5 it gives me an error.

Simple: Inside your unmodded E28.5 place the "SaveFixer" found in the OP inside the "/game" folder.
Done. Now you can load your previous modded saves made while SanchoMod was installed in previous updates.
NOTE: Important! Remember you've done this. If you ever use the SaveFixer file and later decide to install a pending SanchoMod inside that specific update then you MUST delete the SaveFixer file before modding the VN. It's always one or the other (SanchoMod or SaveFixer), never ever both.
Thanks for quick feedback Sancho1969 . Unfortunately I got an error even I make a fresh unmoded instalation of E28.5 and put "SanchoModRemoved-SaveFileFix.rpyc" file in "\game~" folder.
Appreciate if you can take a look into this

That's a rollback error. Pick another save file to load, perhaps the mod's autosave file on page 69 (since it doesn't save on a menu choice).

Try placing this file inside the "/game" folder. This will allow RenPy to rollback a bit further... and maybe get you done... maybe. Right-click/"save link as" to save the file proper from the attached.
Thanks again but this isn't working. Don't bother anymore, mate. I'll just wait for new SE version
