- Put some mini games in the renpy version but not working according to plan (renpy woes)
- Rendered animations are stopping prematurely with the daz3d stuff I have (had a really nice scene of a character squatting over a Japanese style toilet too - couldn't get it to work on 2 machines). Also spent a lot of time getting scripts to make sure her feet stay planted and I can reuse the animation (PIA in Daz3d)
- Mini games are a PIA to write in python (probably because I'm biased towards other languages)
- Starting to wonder if full 3D is the way to go so started working on an unreal project for this game
- 3D has the benefit of giving me more control, I don't have to do renders, and fluid creation is close to what I want
- In the renpy version, there's a gallery that's WIP, you can move around the map, characters have events and levels (also cards based on their levels - naughtier cards the higher the level), there's easter egg WIP, 2 minigames with one working just not how I want, TOD, and events based on TOD.

There's already a ton of work on the renpy side so I'm trying to see how hard it'd be to create this game with Unreal ATM.

Let me do some work on the 3D side and I'll post another update soon - I've already got the lobby in place for a level and added a few things. This shit should not be this hard in 3D (and it wasn't in comparison between all the different tools I normally use on the renpy side).

I keep thinking about how there's not a game intended for watersports fans and how this game and GFJ would be fucking awesome to have and to have created. Endless watersports fun is the goal - renpy may be too cumbersome to endeavor for this struggle :|

I've got some sample animations set up. May post them to show progress - at least for the squat animation.

Hey, you won't see me complain - it means I get to play in "poor man's VR": start the game with the little known "-emulatestereo" option to get dual side-by-side (actual) stereo image, pump it through a tool like TrinusVR to a phone-based Google Cardboard clone goggle -> profit! :cool:

Well, assuming that option still works by default in all Unreal-based games for UE5 same as it did for UE4...

If you're going the 3D route (as in fully being able to explore a 3D environment, as shown in the video), one idea could be having characters passively engaging in "casual peeing"; just doing normal things while peeing nonchalantly every now and then as they move/stand/whatever around in the area.

Thanks - it was a modified thing from a base asset in daz. I threw some things in there to make it unique but it's a box with a bunch of things added to make it look like a lobby.

Right now I'm adding levels to make the menus work and reworking that menu. I want the player to be able to see beacons in front of doors,etc., interact with it by a button hold like a lot of modern games, then an interaction menu pops up. I honestly believe I had this shit plugged in a lot faster than renpy. I'm taking a break now but I started on the niagara system too. Not sure it's going to work but I have UE5's entire engine to fall back on for fluid sims. I mean fuck, is it that hard to get a game engine to display a small jet of pee coming out of a gorgeous pussy in an adult game?! :) :)

Yep that one is on the list. I've got to figure out a lot of other stuff first and then that (hopefully) will be incorporated. Thought about the game giving you an alert that a girl is about to pee her panties, then you try to find her, and if you do find her she stares sexy at you while she pees herself - possibly other things like asking you to come over or look closer. I also thought about the girls 'watering the flowers' with all the plants around the apartment building. Having them walk around or bend over nonchalant peeing though is on the list :)

I made a post about AI somewhere on here...thinking I may incorporate the nonchalant peeing into it with another idea I have that may push this game over the top. Lot of work for the latter though :|

Thank you. I've personally wanted to do this for a long time now.

Update:

You see a main menu that's pretty basic. Need to add other things to the buttons. There's logic in the first part that starts the intro (nasty bathroom at beginning after pressing play - you'll notice there's a flicker with the light - that's intentional and programmed). Then it takes you to the lobby. The first level is almost complete and I'll have to copy it to the other levels when it gets finished but for the most part it works. The first level first apartment is the MC's. He has a pretty badass apartment in comparison to the renpy version. There's sound for the fire, the doors opening and shutting, etc. There's more to do for this apartment. The first door to the right is actually a female character's room and the one all the way to the left is the bathroom (unfinished). I just have the doors in there now. The reason for the doors is I wanted something animated that could be stopped if the MC were to....idk....peak in on someone? The game would stop with a warning saying someone is in there then I think after that I have an idea to go into a mini game. I had the same setup before in renpy but the minigame didn't work too well. I have a 3D persistent minigame I'm thinking about that revolves around the 'entity' that is possessing the MC. It's hilarious and I think you guys would love it. Should be pretty easy to do in Unreal.

In the lobby, I've added a door (not in video below) that's for the public/apartment complex restroom. I'm hoping to spy on the front desk girl when she pees with this and also some NPCs randomly coming in (voyeurism is on the menu boys). They may go in there to pee, or to....play, or both. Like the renpy version, I'd like to create a system where the main girls assist you in corruption. Under their corruption they help with the stories that follow that make this game. For example, when a girl is in control of a level or area (she's almost like an assistant manager) she will help you corrupt the folks living in that apartment and then their story will unfold from there. You may have to go to other areas outside of the apartment complex but it will add to the game's complexity so I'm willing to do it.

Additionally, in the lobby but not implemented yet, is the pool and the admin office. From the admin office, I'm planning on setting it up to where you have control or overview of the entire building. Other places of fun that haven't been implemented yet are the roof, basement, and various floors. I have not implemented the story line yet either but as you can see in the video with the VN like richtext boxes, it's coming. I need to copy what I have from the models in daz3d to implement the other things and it takes a while to do. I'm working on literally everything at the same time here so there's no telling when I will actually have some pee related stuff in the game.

Oh please let us know if you find a good and easy way to work with UE fluid sim and skeletal meshes. Because as of now i'm unable to get good results.

Thank you. It's a tricky thing their fluid stuff BUT it's a lot better than what else is out there plus there's the c++ backend.....only thing is I need a degree in physics to understand how to do fluid sims from scratch in c++ (it's doable though)

I've been playing with the niagara system but it's setup is complicated. I will play with it a little more to make sure this is the direction I need to go in. If I figure it out, I'll post some guides.

I'm curious....did any of you guys not like the Fairy character I shared? I'm planning on changing her face a little to get away from her base model. I already have a little bit but I want to make her more unique.

I removed the $1 tier on and added a free tier. I also have a spreadsheet to track all the work I need to do for this game. It's on my discord if you guys are interested in what I'm doing with it.

Don't expect much right now for content on either though. I'm just trying to show what I'm working on and possibly get some feedback. If you want to be on my discord, let me know.

I was toying with the idea of sharing the old renpy version of this game but it may give away too much for the Unreal version (nothing will be new except the engine and a few other things).

Like many other devs, I have SS integration with Discord so the free SS for right now will be able to see private channels in Discord. This is how I will give links away for demos, betas, etc.

I just hope that we'll be able to choose a female protagonist as well...
I can work on that. The scenes will have to be custom and the dialogue will have to be doubled/changed. It will take more time to start it now so I'll just plan on creating something in the code and then implement it later so it's future proof. This story with the apartment complex, etc. and the MC, has characters that would only be around if the MC was male. I'll work on it and see if it's possible at this point.

In Ren'py this would not be a tall order but with Unreal, it may be tricky. There will be lesbian watersports though. I already have a scene planned where the MC walks in on 2 of the girls getting their freak on and the MC may have a choice of jumping in or just watching so I've already planned on lesbian stuff - it's my favorite watersports stuff anyway.

Hey guys,

I'm sure there's a lot of folks that would like to see a watersports oriented game but I have to ask: How much is a watersports game worth to you like if it was on steam? Is it worth a one time thing where you pay for it on itch.io for $5.99 and that's it? Are there many people that would support a watersports developer via patreon or SS? How much would you guys be willing to support or pledge, a month, for a watersports game developer?

I'm asking this in all seriousness since other creators don't seem to cater to one audience and since their games have a wider audience, they have a larger amount of supporters and donors. Since they do, it appears they may be able to do more than supplement their income.

On a very serious note, I could use the 'more than supplement' right now - that's why I'm asking all of this. I have a ton of ideas on scenes and games but the only problem is - I don't want to make games that cater to everyone and be like everyone else's games. I want them to be unique and cater to what I know/like and since there's a lot of 'us', but not a large audience, it has me concerned for time/effort vs payoff.

What would be nice to have for a subscription on SS or patreon? What things would you expect of a watersports developer for your pledge?
