I have this problem too and I fixed it by deleting the save. Maybe the save file for this game conflict with the old version. So it doesn't work.

I wonder what does that depend on, but I haven't noticed them being powerful/useful at all. They usually just teleport/spaz out next to where she's standing and can barely get a single attack out by the time I'm done clearing the whole room. For me, they seem far too weak to be worth it, especially considering that a "minionmancer"/broodmother build takes a ton of time (stages) to put together, assuming you even get the lucky RNG rolls for the right items to appear with enough money to buy them + frequent ovulation "bonus". Even with a perfect run, by the time you get the +minion dmg, -sex dmg, +hp, +faster pregnancy and go through enough levels to get knocked up and give birth enough times, the game is already over. That's not even mentioning that you might not be able to encounter the mimic to get a minion from it at all.

The poison or the lightning build are a lot more rewarding and powerful in comparison.

I think so, unless I'm misremembering it. There's some vague descriptions on some items and the longer descriptions get cut off by the tooltip box, but one of the items has something like "faster pregnancy stage" on the end.

Very interesting and promising roguelike. I just wish it wasnt a demo... I spend like 1 hour farming coins just to end up realizing it ends at level 2 (69 was intended xd)

They do a lort, but their animations are imperfect, so a lot of what they do is hard to actually see happen.
Some of them are also just more useful than others, as you get different ones from different monster types.

I think the main issue I have is that they seem to be leashed to her and reset their position as soon as the distance between them is greater than like 1m. This means that for the melee ones (the ones you get from the goblins) to actually go "notice enemy>face enemy>walk up to enemy>perform the attack animation>hit enemy" you'd need to stand still next to an enemy for a good 10 seconds, which just doesn't seem like a good idea, especially since most of the time you are fighting multiple targets and lots of them can attack from range or lunge/charge. Even if you didn't "build" your character with poison/lightning/melee dmg in mind, you will still be dodging and attacking during that time and the target will be dead before your minions can take a swing. Bosses would probably be the most notable exception to this, but I haven't tried letting the minions kill them for me.

Don't buy/acquire the item that looks like string lingerie. It's a bug that happens when its bonus is supposed to be active, which is when your clothes get broken.

For anyone having no luck getting to the mimic, here's a save. Should load you right into a room with one, make sure to back up your own saves first. Player is naked, nothing of note is unlocked, I was just speeding through the game to try and find one, and I found one.

Not to be a jerk, but there are tags buddy. "side-scroller" and "platformer" will get you places. Yeah you will still need to do some vetting, but like, outside of the procedural part of this game, very little is stuff not in other places too.

I will also say that the Hounds games were a bit shite.
Parasite in City was a big meh, but it has some nice scenes if you don't get disguisted easily.

You should search for tags by the way. You can filter out Renpy, visual novels and whatever else. (I know some visual novels are nice, but most of them are fucking dogshit because it's the easiest type of game to make and any idiot can start a project like that...)

I also wanted to ask: where can I get Nanocrisis and Koonsoft's games? I can't find them on F95

For both just hit google. There are places on the first page of results for both of them. Honestly for the koonsoft stuff you're better off just getting a video or two off of pornhub or something. They're all cookie cutter boring as fuck shovel ware that are basically the same game reskinned. The gameplay is always stilted. The levels always the same left to right mindless walks and the combat is even more mindless.

Even in the grand scheme of the actual hentai they're a solid MEH. Seriously, highlight videos are all you need for all their library.
