and after getting defeated you start from the beginning
either you make a "Chapter Select System" , or add cheats for infinite HP
I still wonder why developers aren't adding cheats in their offline games , it's not like affecting other people's experience , it's not online after all .

I don't know if its just me but sometimes when I get downed and I get up, the controls don't respond anymore. Either by a trap or an ennemy, if I get taken dow I have to restart the game becaus eI can't move.

I'll give an answer to why is that.
1.) Japanese especially have their "mah vision" mindset so it's either their way or no ones. Simple as that. It's especially true for rogue-likes.
2.) Japanese especially HATE anything done in shitty manner that can bring them criticism. Cheats are a way to cause some problems that vast majority of rotbrains playing these games will not attribute to "oh, I've cheated and caused weird behaviour". No, they will almost always say "oh, I crashed/got stuck therefore game is badly designed".
I've seen it happen waaaay too many times in all kinds of games. There are still people that cry about unmodded Skyrim SE being the most unstable game ever while using console commands more often than freaking spells xD
Devs don't want to take chances and just avoid even bothering with it (also, point 1 still stands).

Regarding myself and cheats, I will say this.
1) Cheats in solo games are not cheats because you do not deceive anyone.
2) From my life experience, I will say this if the game is interesting and designed for a long time, that is, when you have completed it, you can continue playing. Then cheats do not harm, I either turn them off or use them for personal optimization of the game, I can even increase the difficulty by reducing the character's stats, especially relevant in porn games))).
For a pro player, cheats are not a minus but a plus because they give new opportunities that you may not use.
3) If the game is not interesting, then cheats help you get through this trash faster or, on the contrary, the game itself is boring but there is a cool plot and cheats help you see the plot faster.

Is there anything else you can do with this iron maiden ? Pressing E does nothing anymore.

Is there an easier way to get these cheats to work because Im having a hell of a time getting them to run properly (or at all)

Hello, I have a question. Does the game have a self-save or can it be saved manually? Because every time I die I start from the beginning. Without the purchased objects, nothing.

Checked this game out then went to the itch.io to look at supporting them. Noticed that version hasn't been updated sense 2023. Glad to see they're still working on it. I am guessing its behind Cien mostly? I am largely asking to see if the dev is still working on it.

In this case, answer is nothing
This room have 2 versions.
1. Your character inside the iron maiden, then you receive a artifact.
2. Another woman inside the iron maiden, you can't do anything
Iron Maidens that have a women already trapped inside do not cause you to be captured. There are two versions. 1. Women inside and a potion, money, usable item, or permanent stat item will drop. You can't do anything else if there is a women inside. Grab your items and move along. Or 2. The Iron Maiden is empty and upon completion of the 3rd mouth taking some of your health it will grab you and proceed to have sex with you.
