Possible? I am sure it will be. Preferable, though? Absolutely not, though that's due to the Steam machine itself being a waste of everything, rather than any software or hardware incompatibilities.

STEAMOS is just 'nix with some extra goodies preinstalled and their own UI. So if you can already play it on that, you shouldn't have problems.

Hi guys, I'm new here, I have problem with saving game, idk if the game have a function to save data after u lost all HP? I see you guys even mod in this game. Where can I find and how can I apply it in my game? And I can't walk (A/D + Ctrl) too..

The game saves each time you enter a room, but once you die : the run's over.
As for modding, it's just the usual bepinex, there's ton of documentation online about it, including on this thread.
As for not being able to walk, since it your earlier comment made it look like you're able to play the game, did you get the item that looks like an SM strap armor ? if yes : that item's bugged, avoid picking it up, if not : idk
I saw someone tell to save data and paste to the folder.. and After that, someone shared that they saved the "merchant" folder.. i did the same but there's no saving... kinda sad to run back all the time.. I think I might try to reinstall.
What they're trying to say is there IS no saving... it's a roguelite. What you just mentioned are work-arounds trying to cheat the system. The game is DESIGNED to have no saving (the save-per-room is so like if the game crashes, which can be abused) You're not doing anything wrong; this is an entire genre.
No updates. Same as before, the dev's have stated that there will not be any more incremental updates - the next update will be full launch, which is February.

Nope, it's the far more likely possibility that we'll see a full version sooner rather than later. It usually means that they're gearing for a full release.

exciting to hear. im actually really glad they closed ranks and went full dev mode. it makes me that much more excited for the release
