does not work for me. Every time it brings me to the beginning of the game. I even renamed it to gamedata.save. how are people getting it to work?

Do EXACTLY as it was said. Copy and paste the content of the file( not that file) on the mentioned location and replace them.

I replaced all 4 except for the Unity folder cause there wasn't anything to replace it with and still won't work

Ok... I don't know what that means. What previous save. What is empty. There is nothing that's empty. I just played the first few rooms from the beginning of the game to try and establish a "previous save" and then left the game. My save folder looks like
UNITY
gamedata00.save
globaldata.save
Player.txt
Player-prev.txt.
Then I downloaded New_Boss_Go_To_The_Right and unzipped it. The insides were also these 4
gamedata00.save
globaldata.save
Player.txt
Player-prev.txt.
I replaced my initial save folder with all 4 files in the New_Boss_Go_To_The_Right folder. My new save folder looks like
UNITY
gamedata00.save
globaldata.save
Player.txt
Player-prev.txt.
with the four files being copied. UNITY folder stays the same. Still won't work
From exploring around a bit, it seems its the UNITY folder that needs to be included

FYI player.txt and player-text.txt are usually just logs , if you open them you'll see that they just detail your hardware, a list of bugs that happened etc

Sadly the uncensored assets are only for a few ennemies. After some point the dev started directly censoring the assets rather than simply have a filter to them. Basically if we wanted to have an uncensored version of the game we would need to extract every assets and redraw what is censored to replace the original with.
It's doable but you'd need an artist to take on the task
For those who got the saves to work, by any chance are you guys using the latest version 0.71 or an older version?
Too bad that the reverse-rape was axed. That could make the game a lot more interesting throughout the whole gameplay.

Seeing as the post containing the save file were made previous to when 0.71 dropped, it's save to say it only seems to work on version 0.70

It does, it has an auto save function, when you start the game it shows you a butterfly with that text.

- hints: if you try to save your work, you cam try to make a zip file to save it and place it later if you want not walk throuth the stages again!
- old saves from old versions are not compatible and the game starts again from the beginning!
Well, I didn't load from old saves, I downloaded version 0.7.1 and started playing, and every time I die, everything starts from the beginning

how it starts from the beginning? do you get the first dialoge [A] or you will Teleport back by the church?

if you Teleport back to church , than its a normal game skrip from the dev. it does not have a "level select" area.
