I like stage 5. It's challenging with bunch of agile and bulky monsters, like they're no joke I don't have to intentionally get my character caught. But the bad part is once you die you gotta play 4 boring floors to get there. First three stages are way too easy in comparison hence they feel like a chore. A checkpoint on every floor beginning would be nice imo. Like if you died on 5-3, you can start from 5-1.
That would be something that would had to be in the game from the start, it's so boring having to redo everything everytime. So YES PLEASE.

Can you directly start on the new stage 5 to see all the new content? Don't fell like having to run across all of them again so if someone could share a save on that stage would be highly appreciated.
But sometimes the author updates old levels too

It should be of your own your choice, once you completed a stage to be able to go to the next one, Without being forced to go through all the other ones and the bosses again EVERY TIME.
Well the game is a rougelite kind of game, so it would ruin the game if they made you able to skip levels without building up your character with skills and perks.

The only time i could see this as a need is if the game has multiple end bosses. (Not the bosses you fight each end of a zone but like the final boss fight) Because then you don't have to slag through all those levels and beat the final boss, just in order to reach a new set of zones.

But it seems they want the game to be a one run playthrough.

Heh, at the time I modded ThornSin 0.45 I used a MelonLoader tool with a console which allowed me to switch levels and gave me quick access to Game Over scenes for testing.

045levelselector.png

Unfortunately, level selector stopped working with later TS versions. Which is strange, since file structure of the game didn't change THAT dramatically.

I support 'level selector' idea for release game with the condition of 'player have to beat game first once'. But I also played rogue-like/lites such as Binding of Issac and Noita... so yeah, compared to these TS is a childplay in terms of actual difficulty.

Bro, it's a hentai game, i want to beat my meat whenever i feel like it with it not beat the game multiple times to get to something. That level selector is a must or many people will just look for the the animations on some video and won't play, trust me(because the gallery is not a reality yet).

Really fantastic update my only critique of this is after the 5th merchant scene her costume she gets isn't added into the wardrobe. Here's hoping it becomes a feature with the full release, otherwise I don't see why include the wardrobe is theres only one set of clothes.
On a side note do we know what the buff or item them merchant gives you after the 5th scene do?

Oh, trust me, been there done that. Won't recommend anyone to make videos for H-games nowadays - quite a time waste and lots of DMCAs awaits the uploader :p

Although I still treat H-game as a game IF it have something to offer in terms of gameplay rather than just porn. It separates good H-games from bad ones.

If I remember correctly, when the H-scene ended it just send me back like nothing happened. I had the succubus tail so my max HP was decreased but no noticeable differences. Unless I overlooked something because I went to the boss fight directly after.

There's an item after Merchant Scene 5 (Missionary) which gives a lewd crest tattoo on MC belly for 'Main Menu Stand' figure, but the added item have unspecified description:

post5item.png

I haven't checked this in item data yet since there's a need to look for item id in separately located files, but for now I'll assume it's a placeholder with no practical effect.

Oh yeah, here's a sprite sheet with all items, including some unused/debug ones:
item01.png

Update: Okay, so I pulled this Merchant Crest item data and currently it only gives you 10 Evil Points for now:

[72]
0 Item data
0 int id = 72
0 int name_id = 974
0 int icon = 72
0 int desc = 975
0 int type = 0
1 string show_place = "-1"
1 string tags = ""
0 int add_level = 1
1 string pre_item = "0"
0 int atk_add = 0
0 float hp_add = 0
0 float mp_add = 0
0 float hp_recover = 0
0 int buff_add = 0
0 int buff_remove = 0
0 float move_add = 0
0 int luky_add = 0
0 int maternal_add = 0
0 int evil_add = 10
0 int holy_add = 0
0 int add_state_hurt = 0
0 int add_state_attack = 0

PS:
0 int add_level = "1" is a curious part because only items related to post-run unlocks have it, like Holy Cross after post-virgin run)
1 string show_place = "-1" - I don't get this one. Maybe it separates this item from the rest - can't be unlocked in a post-run screen, can't be picked up in shop or areas... code is undocumented so I'm just guessing for this part.

So yeah, nothing special for it for the time being.
