It depends on the time the dev takes, it's work if he wants to keep and see his game evolve, I know what I'm talking about.
I guess, I was wrong and it might take a while for the new version to arrive. Probably, a new game is a higher priority now.

There was just an update under 2 months ago, it didn't get promoted due to review manipulation.

Yes, it wasn't promoted so unless you follow this thread or their Patreon, you or anyone didn't know there was an update. But yes, there was an update less than 2 months ago. There won't be another update for a few months.
I thought initially it was a two-months update cycle (at least from verson 1 to vesion 2)?

They have like 75 games. They just released a new game just this month, so I'm sure this one is pushed back.
