Well, if neither there being a content nor "fun" (assume innovation in that case), we are left with... A finished unncanny coloring book.

Being critical is important, especially when all we see are these western patreon shills that release 0.01 version and leave it at it in most cases. Even if it continues in development, it was released as extremely barebones, leaving a sore aftertaste that you dont really want to esperience again.

Have some standards, man.

Also, about judging by its cover.
Considering I play mostly purely text based hgames, your remark is completely invalidated by that, but nice try defending patreonization of con artists.
Your standards are subjective not objective. If they dont match others that doesnt make either wrong or right. Your reply is filled with arrogance.

who gives a shit. what's important is the content and that we have fun. Ever heard the saying "neever judge a book by its cover"? Yeah
He didn't "judge a book by it's cover", he replied to a dude that said that this "art" looks beautiful which is either a case of extremely bad taste or just blantant lie.

i understand, but my comment can be taken and understood in multiple ways, not just directed to one point. it can also mean that im generally stating, that it doesn't matter whether the art is good or bad. you can still enjoy a game with not that good of an art by the quality of content it gives (i.e. storyline etc)

he can be part of that reply, but it's not entirely pointed out to one person

devs aren't the same, and he/she could just be starting. let him/her do what he/she wants so he/she might open up/discover new ways or opportunities on his/her own. i understand you have standards, but that doesn't mean you can't give way and understand to people who're new to it.

this is the prob of us people...we have the opportunity to encourage them positively, but instead, we choose to be assholes who think about nothing but ourselves... that includes me back in the day, unfortunately...

pardon if i sound harsh tho

EDIT:
straight to the point:
pls, don't be an asshole with someone else's comments just for asking for a bunch of UNCENSORED images (pardon if I sound harsh ), despite the nonsense comments, the developer will complete his project, so don't be afraid about it.

Since I didn't think there were such sensitive ppl, I've already deleted that bittersweet comment... so just relax buddy, despite a moment of pride or anger, here we are to enjoy these free/pirated porn games. :WeSmart:

Look avek , fam. I understand, and I get your point, and I also have standards, sometimes very high that others would think im being a dick. However, I also try to put my self in the shoes of these guys, and making this isn't as easy as it sounds. There are many factors we as a community have to consider regarding how some art styles doesn't look as good, especially on developers who are just starting out. Not all of them can afford the applications other developers use in making these games. Some are just starting out, because they want to make money in order to feed their family, and they also enjoy doing it.

I also understand how other people feel about these "developers" sometimes just leave them i earlier versions and that's it. But in those/some cases, I see people criticizing, downgrading and discouraging them to the point it breaks someone's willpower. And it's not just one person doing that. People complain some devs just leave it like that. Let me ask you, why do you think so?

Third, it's important to be critical, but not to the point where we don't try to put ourselves in their position. We have standards, but that doesn't mean we won't give way and understand others. There are developers like that "other game" who i played back years ago, and until now, i was surprised it only moved 2 versions or so. Hypocrite of me, right? Wrong. The only devs I would bash are those who milk our moneys for their own satisfaction by creating well made games and just leaving it unfinished and without even telling their fans about updates or current progress. THOSE are the ones i don't like. However, these guys who just started out and having not that good of an art, I understand that and encourage them to keep doing it until they improve and develop well made content in the future.

For some here, i don't think it's being critical or opinion or whatever their excuses are. You can clearly see that it's just mere selfishness, that they criticize these new devs just because their lust wasn't "satisfied", so they get disappointed and just open their mouths without even thinking about the consequences or these developers.

WARNING: A story about a friend of mine. Please take time to read it, at least for the sake of these new developers. It won't hurt to try and read it. Graphic/Gore content that some of you might not be comfortable with, so if you have a brave heart and soul, please continue. Thank you.
I'm sorry if I'll bring this up, but just for the sake that some of you will see what I'm trying to get. Years ago, I had a friend who wanted to try making these adult games because she was a fan of one of these devs. However, she recieved a lot of backlashes and critiques, by a lot of people who only knew how to think about their own satisfaction, downgrading and discouraging her, when she just wanted to put it up early, because she wanted people to know that she was making a game, and would want them to check it out. She did that because she wanted to tell everyone like "Hey everybody! I'm currently making a game, it's not much, but I hope you'll like it!" that's all she wanted, not forcing anyone to try it out, just being happy that she made an achievement. She thought about people like us, she was thinking that if she posts it as a reminder, it would have a positive outcome. unfortunately, it wasn't as she expected. She received a lot of backlashes, negative comments who're downgrading her, discouraging her, calling her art shitty even tho she just started. They never even had the thought that she was just starting. She only wanted to make people happy, but alas, it was a disappointment. She was crying a lot, I tried to cheer her up. I thought I succeeded. 2 weeks later, I got a call from her dorm mate that they found her dead in the bathroom. She cut herself open in the arms with a blade and she lost a lot of blood. It was too late, and I was so devastated. That happened years ago. She only wanted to make people happy, and wanted to make some income. Her goal wasn't to "milk" patreons/fans, she started it out of passion, if fans wanted to donate, they can, if they don't then it's fine also. She did that with the thought that she could help pay the bills and feed her family. I admired her because she had a strong will, always saying "I know my work is not as good as the other famous developers, but it's a start." But I guess no matter how strong you are, everybody has their own breaking point. We and her family lost a good soul in this world, just because of some horny people who arent mature enough to hold their mouths just because their lust wasn't satisfied.

END OF STORY
If you took time to read it til the end, God bless you.

The outcome would've been different if people encouraged her and that telling her that she will improve from time to time. I'm not telling you that so that you'll feel pity for her. No, I don't need that and im sure she doesn't need that. What I'm telling you is that learn to think of other people and what your words might do to them. We're humans, we get better by experience and by always trying. We're not robots who're programmed to be better in an instant. We also have to think that some of these developers are just late teens/young adults who're just starting out and we're comparing them to late 20's or even mid-aged experienced game developers. Not fair right? My point is, hold your damn lust and learn to think of others. Even if that thinking will lead you to 1000 possibilities when you put yourselves in their shoes. They do this for us, and this is what we give them in return. it's important to be critical, and/or to give our opinions for them to take note of. But choose your words properly and professionally and choose the right time and place to do it. Study each dev in the long run, not when they've just started, analyze each one of them carefully. Don't pack all of them as one and criticize them generally. People aren't the same, and that's what makes each one of us special.

If you read everything til these very last bars(or not), again, may God bless you whether u understood the entire thing or not. Have a nice day.

Cheers!
