I get that you intend to be very professional with your avn now but take the time to focus on your studys, its really not long until the 4th and if youre really able to produce 200+ renders/week youre extremly fast anyway.
Its so freakily fast that i honestly strongly doubt that you will be able to manage that, it would be 10k+ renders a year, there isnt a single daz avn with such a fast development cycle and even less with quality renders.
So if you really manage anything close to that, you dont have to worry about development speed at all anyway.
I usually prefer longer updates too but i kinda depends on the size and consistency.
With youre development speed i guess every halft update will have 1k+ renders which imo is fine and indeed helps to get more publicity for the avn and i agree with your thought about this being the best way in the beginning.
Anything below 1k renders requires consistent monthly updates imo to work.
And later on you can still switch to bigger updates after the avn hopefully gots some traction.
