Tides has no side girls. It's something Tak could change down the road of course, but as of now, and has been for a while, there's no side content planned.

Glade sounds like a definite sex scene. Lorelei I'm on the fence about because I think the tension needs to reach a pitch, like them getting into another argument and then letting it all out. Kasula's is tricky since it's connected to the Unity bond.
ah good to know I was kind of unsure if someone like Violet was a side girl or not cause yeah it didn't seem fitting in this game to have any but the choice to defend Glade and how that scene played made me question there not being any.

But yeah I think it would be a little to soon for Lorelei and I think Kasula gonna be even more slow than the rest cause of her Elven culture with the Unity bond

I don't know the full thought process behind it but I believe it's to ensure more character development goes to the main LIs and frees up people like Elva to be LIs in future content without having to worry about people crying NTR.

This was changed with the last update for quite a few different reasons.

Also, if you are playing on v0.2.0, there are a few instances where the characters act as if Henricus doesn't have eyes. This is fixed in v0.2.1, so I suggest playing v0.2.1. :)
I admit this confused me in 0.2.0, glad this get changed even if i wasn't bother by that. TBH i was thinking that he was blind, and being blind could also work if you have eyes. I understand later the problem in me concluding that

I see the small "cheat menu" in the bottom. Did it have to do with that? I don't judge or imply it is, it's just an idea to resolve your problem.

In my humble opinion, it's not about NTR or not, it's about the fact that generaly if a MC is in a multiple relation, the romance doesn't work well. I mean it's not very convincing if the MC say how much he love a woman and in the next scene he is banging another one and another one after that. In another word, if the special moment he is sharing with his love isn't exclusive or in a trouple, it's not that special. (unless it's very well written, and even well done VN like eternum doesn't work well in that regard imo )

Didn't even know this game existed until 3 days ago.
Gave it a go, and I must say I like it. I like it a lot.

The topic of pirates and piracy isn't a subject which I see all that too often in AVN-sphere, and this game makes the characters feel more real, not sterotypical and in depth.
I can also see that you put in a lot of thought into world-building.
So kudos to awesome job.

As for myself, I'm not into yandere route, so I'm just simply going with solo/exlusive route with each LI (Lorelei, Kasula, Glade), and I'm content (with throuple, normally I wouldn't mind it, but surprisingly with this title, I'm just preferring to stick with solo routes).

Few questions I wanted to ask TakMycket ;

1) (seeing a little bit of what you wrote in replies to others) You already have sequels planned? Nice.
So I'm guessing there would be a bit of time jump between each game?
Given how Tides seem to be branched, would this have impact on how the sequel games' narratives are played out?

e.g. When the player starts the second game, will the game ask which LI player chose (Lorelei, Kasula, Glade, or throuple) and that will impact the sequel game's narrative in some significant way?
Or will the ending decided by player in Tides have minimal impact on its sequel (i.e. maybe one line of dialogue or two or even one very small scene nodding to the ending of Tides, but nothing significant)?

Guess this question kinda applies to how the lore/worldbuilding transitions from part 2 to part 3 as well.

2) Will parts 2 & 3 main protagonists also be pirates?
Or will they be different, and not necessarily pirates (could be typical sailor/explorer etc I suppose)?
Given you've said Elva will be in the 2 sequels, I'm kinda inclined to believe the followup games will still be sea related, but unsure whether it will necessarily be pirates hmmmm........

All in all, the game's very enjoyable and I'm looking forward to what's to come in the future storylines.

Tak will probably expand further once he gets on, but yes, Tides 2 will ask you who your chosen LI was.

We have already met the MC from Tides 2 - Fenwick Thorne.
And the MC for the Tides 3 will be the son of Tobias (MC1 & your chosen LI).

Oh, that guy who speaks with King Lowell in all the paths who gives off the "assassin/spy"-like vibe?
Interesting, but fitting. He does give that MC vibe also.

And you'll have 2 LIs to choose from (Zelene & Brielle - Zelene you've met, and Brielle is the girl in Tak's pfp.)

I see Milton has already given you some answers... but I'll write up the answers in full anyway :)

For reference - I'm going to refer to the second AVN as Part 2, and the third AVN as Part 3.

So I'm guessing there would be a bit of time jump between each game?
Part 2 will take place 4 years after the endings of Tides. Part 3 will take place 22 years after the endings of Tides.

Given how Tides seem to be branched, would this have impact on how the sequel games' narratives are played out?
Yes, your choices in Tides will influence how Part 2 and Part 3 play out. Your choices in Part 2 will also influence how Part 3 plays out.
I'm not planning for players to be able to transfer saves between the three AVNs, so at the start of each part, the game will ask you which ending you received.

For Part 2, the impact won't be significant. Part 2 focuses on its own Love Interests and Protagonist (which Milton pointed out is Fenwick Thorne) and as such, the MC from Tides and his chosen LI will only be minor characters in the plot. There will be a few details in the plot which change, but no massive branching.

For Part 3, the significance is much greater. Tobias (the default name for Tides' MC), is the father of the MC in Part 3. As such, your ending in Tides influences the backstory of the MC quite a lot. He can be a Prince, he can be the son of a Lord, he can be the son of an explorer... it really depends on your ending in Tides. Most of the branching that comes about will be changes to dialogue and facial expressions, rather than changes to the scene. There will also be scenes where the MC will spend time with his parents, meaning those scenes will change entirely based of who the mother is.

No, neither of them will be pirates.

Fenwick Thorne is the person who does all the dirty work for King Lovell and Lorelei. He's going to be the MC for Part 2.

The MC for Part 3 is going to be an up and coming hot shot captain in the Adristanian navy.

However, both of those AVNs are going to be sea-based, and pirates will play a large role in both plots.
