To fix the bug, download the linked file, go into the game folder of Tides, then the folder labelled script... then replace the script.rpy with the new version you just downloaded and delete script.rpyc from the game folder. Run the game and everything should work fine. Please let me know if that doesn't fix the issue.

For more context for others, the lewd scenes are fully animated and there is nudity... however, it is soft core - you see everything but the genitals.

To answer your question, I imagine this news will disappoint some people, but at the moment, there's no plans to change this. I'm just making the AVN that perfectly suits my preferences which is why it's turned out this way.

thanks, and again, it doesn't bother me, I just heard some devs recently talking about doing more PG versions like these, but Tides was the first where I've actually seen it. There were some ideas tossed around like DLCs and whatnot that would include full nudity.

There are 4 paths...
1. Kasula path
2. Lorelei path
3. Glade path
4. Throuple path

And of course, there are many variations to those paths. All paths will also feature pregnancy at some point as well.

Is the WT meant to only talk about LI paths? I thought before there were small sections about the main plot paths (like the King's allegiance, Glade's allegiance, etc. I noticed sometimes they get mentioned in passing when important, like needing to navigate the throuple path.

I just saw the first lewd scene (with lorelei) and while im not a fan of softcore and its a sligh disappointment, i have to say the lewd scene and animation is still better and more erotic than at least 80% (probably more like 95%) of daz avns

but i would look into the music and animations, its a bit jarring when the music always stops during the animations just to resume for 2 renders inbetween and so on

I always feel like Kasula is on the spectrum somewhere - the way she talks, and moves at times + some of her expressions remind me of my Au & AuDHD peeps. Although that may have been meant as cultural difference - an Elf thing.

So many VNs look great and then you get to sex scenes and it looks like a kid smashing two action figures together.

So in that respect, the softcore approach was a nice change of pace.

i swear reviews on these games are almost as usefull as the ones critics do for movies . idk anyone who cares what they say but im reading them and its they bought a 60 dollar xbox game lol. its a free for you on here porn game. if you have 1 dev and the game doesnt look exactly like whatever time period its set in or dont have voiced sex scenes( hint screen record another porn or h game scene and replay it in backround of your game sex scene) they give it like 2 stars lol. 80 percent of the games on here dont have lewd sounds or they only haved that japanese whining no bigie

The story and characters are great but it is very softcore porn.

The sex scenes don't really show much, it's just like a sex scene from a movie really. No penetration or no showing anything except breasts.

It's like one of those comedies that use various objects to hide genitals, all the sex scenes are angled in a way that avoids the bottom half.

Even the 69 is angled behind the guys head so you can't see her sucking or him licking.

It's a damn good job the story holds up or this would fall flat. Still, the sex scenes are weakest point of the game.

True, sadly there are some people that tend to manipulate the rating of some games by posting a not so honest review.
